Very aggressive collection. Most likely illegal tactics.

Recieved a call that I am getting served either at my home or employement. They don't even confirm the information only that they want me to call them back. This is a SCAM.

They keep calling with the same story different day. No doubt an illegal tactic

Got a call from them and they threatened to take legal action against me and I called them back only to find out it was a payday loan that went unpaid. I told them to mail the bill and I would make payment and they told me they couldn't do that. Told me I had to pay right then and there or I was gonna have to go to court. I looked up Texas Debt Collection Act and they are in serious violation of many laws pertaining to the state Act... What can I do about this?

Those [***] took me to civil court, $400 loan jacked up to $1300 / they garnished it right out of my check, those damn [***]. D.O.C they sue some ppl & others they dont. ( i dont understand )

Denise McDermit called for someone and said she was with the Official Office of Correspondence LOLOLOL I almost died when she said that...that is such a debt collector practice.

They personally dont come out, but they sure did send out a process server to my home and they served me with court papers....I have to pay a 3,000 judgement now for a measly 500 dollar loan I took out a few years ago. I wish I would of just took the offer they gave me.

They called me and told me I was tied to a fraud suit and would be served next week if the issue was not cleared up.  They told me it was an ex-employee and his mother that were committing fraud with my blessing and I would be charged also.  They used me to get to this employee to collect some debt that he didn't even have.

Got a call from my little sister today, said shes been contacted by a courrier service saying I was being sued and that he would be by her home to serve HER and wanted to make sure she was home??? Really?  That's funny how they think they can get away with this type of harassment, of relatives who aren't even listed in whatever alleged suit they are talking about.  I told her just don't even answer the door.

These jokers have left multiple messages on my machine for someone I don't even know, has never lived here, and doesn't even have the same initials. Certainly that by itself shows how unethical they are.

WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE CALLING MY SISTER THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SERVE ME AND SERVE HER ON MONDAY? THEY WOULD NOT GIVE HER ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN CALLED ME. THEY DID HOWEVER MANAGE TO UPSET THE HELL OUT OF HER. WHO THE HELL ARE THEY? THEY WOULDN'T EVEN IDENTIFY THEMSELVES. HOW DO YOU STOP THESE ANNOYING PHONE CALLS?

I just rec'd  a call from a private delivery service for denton County.  I am going to be served also they gave me a case number and when I called the number to see who they are it is DOC.    Just a collection company.  Wont tell you anything.

They seemed legit when I spoke w/ them. They were searching for someone I used to know years ago, and it's not the first time a company like this called looking for him. I wish I knew where he was so I could tell them. If you don't pay your bills, someone will want to be paid. Most companies will work with you if you are struggling, before it gets to this point. Stop running & just deal with it, if not for your own peace of mind, then how about those of us who are innocent & being contacted? Think about it.

Did anyone answer you? I've already given them one payment, but it seems they want it all at once. which is impossible for me right now. Are they really going to take me to court?

Hello i got a call from them. I spoke with them today. I was told that i would be served papers as well for a loan that they said i took out in 2008. I have to pay $250.00 on 11/5/2011 and $350.00 the month after. Only thing is. I don't remember taking out a loan with these people. The bank they said i used i have never even hard of before. I am ill and under the doctors card. I am also disabled. I am going to see if there is something i can do about this. They won't tell me who the loan was from? how much it was nothing.I suffer from seizures, memory lost, and panic attacks. So i am going to get my doctors and a law firm to help me out and tell me what can be done about this.
