- Guytano Parks| 1 replyI assigned the "NO RING" option to this phone # (I only have a cell phone). They (Progressive Financial) ERRONEOUSLY/ANNOYINGLY called, so now with the "no ring" assignment to their # (888-441-5024) I have gotten rid of the annoyance!

- Mr Lakes replies to Guytano ParksProgressive financial services student loan collection ... These guys collect on student loans
These guys are annoying some lady name "Candice Wright" keep calling me every single day. They have the nerve to call my boss and start saying "I HAVE A TIME SENSITIVE INFORMATION FOR YOUR EMPLOYEE" . I tell them to stop calling me and my work but they still call every day. They are going to get me fired. Anyways After 2 weeks of candice's phone assault I decided to call her back.... She started demanding that i pay 400 dollars a month on some old AZZ student loan. I WORK MINIMUM WAGE... I have no car, and no savings.... I live pay check to pay check... I told her this but she is a well trained DOG.... she just keeps at it... I found some information on some website made by a former collector and he talks about everything... Alll the nAsty tactics these collection agencies employ..... READ ABOUT YOUR OPTIONS... it turned out my payments were as low as 100 dollars a month.... THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY.... PEOPLE YOU NEED TO BE INFORMED.... My blessings go out to you... Honest, hard working americans that are struggling....

- angry tooThis company left a mysterious message on my cell phone! and said if this is not the person this message is intended for please hang up WTF! are they going to pay for the minutes they used up on my phone? What BS! I am 17 and dont owe any money and am still in high School! Does that donotcall thing work on people like this. The only person I gave my number to was an infomercial for a hair curling thing. I wonder if they just randomly call people harassing them trying to get money, after all most people do owe money, I think this preys on old people or nieve people making it a numbers game. anyways, I am reporting them to ? not sure yet, but someone. They also make it seem like they are associated with Progressive Insurance. Thats just W R O N G

- frustratedI got several calls from this number
Progressive financial services.
I called them back after I looked up the number and their website online
Initially I could not talk to a person until I called early morning.
Based in Arizona.
Collection Agency.
Indeed someone had opened a fake cable account with my name, did not pay it and now it has gone to collection under my name.
I contacted cox and am in the process of rectifying this mess.
I suggest you try to call them back and make sure your name/ credit history don't suffer.- Caller: progresive financial

- DaveyBI just received my first call from this number which left an automated message on my voice mail. I called the number back, spoke to a human who directed my call to another human and I was able to get my number off the list pretty easily (or so they claim).
I have been getting calls from different collection agencies for a person that I do not know since I got my new phone number four years ago.- Caller: Progressive Financial Services

- Deena| 1 replyReceived a letter from the Progressive Financial Services, Inc. It was addressed to (get this!)
CDT TEST ACCT AUTO, our address with an added apt #1 on it. Funny because we only have a private home on a farm (no apt's here). Our name nor anyone elses was on it anywhere. They wanted $918.49 for COX FLORIDA-MACON. paid by CREDIT CARD, and they want it sent to P.O. Box 22083, Tempe, Az. 85285.
It has this phone # on it (888-441-5024) .
We don't owe anyone this amount, or by this name, so i knew it is a scam. I took it to the post office, and they made a copy of it to investigate. Told me if anymore come in our mail to DO NOT open it, write on the envelope "Not At This Address", and put it back in the mailbox.
We get calls from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from AZ and all over the USA from scammers, and pranksters. We are sick of it, isn't there any way to put a stop to this madness??? - Serpico replies to DeenaGot a call on my cell from them today. They want to talk to a lady with an Hispanic name.
Told them nobody by that name at this number, and that I've had the number for three years.
They want to know my name; told them "No way", as I don't know who/what they are. Then,
I put on my "raging phone call" act, proceeded to yell at, and insult the caller. (Comic relief
for me.) and told her that I am on a FEDERAL NO-CALL REGISTRY, and was proceeding
to TRACE THEIR NUMBER, and REPORT THEM TO THE FCC. (Lots of yelling) For some
reason, she hung up abruptly. ... I take it as a duty to make their encounter as unpleasant
to them as possible. ... Please do get on the registry. - Not the GuyCall is from Progressive Financial Services in AZ. They leave a cryptic message saying that are calling to speak to someone whose name I don't know or recognize. Caller ID says their number is 602-453-8899, but they say to call them back at 888-441-5024. They are a collection agency and I'm not the guy they're looking for. I've had my number for at least 15 years, so I have no idea why they think my number belongs to someone else. Anyway, I have VOIP so I just blocked their number.

- EmilieI got the call while I was at work. The guy didn't even I troduce himself or the company he was calling from, yet asked for the last four digits of my social security number. I told him that I'm not going to give out any information until he tells me who I he is, where he's calling from, and the reason for this call. He rushed through telling me and I barely caught what he said, then he asked if I had lived at some address. I repeated what I said earlier and he then tells me that he's not required to tell me anything until I confirm who I am. Seems a little backwards, buddy! I told him to remove my name and number from their list and to never call me again. We'll see if he listens.
