    I did an online instant insurance quote from Liberty Mutual and got a quote that was literally twice as much as my currant insurer.  They are still calling me to ask if I want to insure with them. What a rip off, and now they want to top it off with being annoying!

    HA! I totally did the same thing & found this thread after googling the phone number that's been calling me.

    Also, yes, Liberty Mutual wanted to charge me $111 for liability insurance ONLY, whereas State Farm charges me that much for full coverage, collision, liability, fire/flood/theft/uninsured motorist protection, the works, with extra medical insurance & roadside service.

    What a scam.
