3 times today......... Leave a message, already!

This is coventry health care.   They have called us numerous times to set up an appointment time for their in-home health evaluation.    Keep telling them I DON'T WANT IT.

They called my mother 3 times and never left a message.  I saw it was from Coventry on this site and told her.  She called the # on her caller ID and they tried to schedule her for a free in-home health evaluation.  They sell health insurance so this was most likely a veiled sales presentation.  She declined.

Called the number back.  Got recording --  "Thank your calling Advanced Health. Your call may be recorded for training or quality purposes.  If your call is in relation to a letter you received from your health plan or if you are returning a call press 1.  
If you have an appointment scheduled press 2."

Pressed 1 and got a live person who asked my name and phone number. She said call was on behalf of a letter I supposedly got from my Aetna Advantage plan regarding the scheduling of an in-home health physical by a local nurse practitioner who would spend about an hour with me discussing my health history and conducting a brief physical exam and talking with me about my options.

Called the number a 2nd time and pressed 2.  Live person came on and said she was with the scheduling department in Virginia.

They only call you if you already have their insurance. The visit is something that Is already included with your insurance plan.  It is done annually. At no time will anyone ask or pressure you to purchase insurance.

Does she have Coventry Health Insurance? If not, it may have been an incorrectly dialed call. Their in-home heath evaluation is not part of their sales pitch, it is a yearly free service for their members. I know, because I have Coventry insurance.

You are correct that they are not selling the health care, they are calling to schedule a home health care person to go to your home to get your vitals, check your medications.
I noticed that someone else said the number is for Aetna. Coventry is part of Aetna.
I have Coventry Advantage ,  medicare advantage coverage. When their number is on caller ID is just says toll free or is blank. I monitor all calls and do not answer if not recognized. If message let, which they do not I may consider phoning back as they are who covers my health care.
Even though they are who gets my medicare money and cover my health care I am frustrated and angry with them due to their treatment that at this time I will not speak to them.
I have sent them a letter voicing my dissatisfaction with, so IF they phone, I may talk to them. Just
I know went off topic, but I just had to vent my opinion.

Are you satisfied with their coverage?

They have called us numerous times to try to schedule the "in home healthcare evaluation". My parents actually agreed to have this done. It was time consuming and my parents received no information that they did not already know or assume as common sense. We have all been largely satisfied with Coventry's insurance and customer care, but I really wish Coventry would not waste their (our) money on this type of service and intrusive cold calling. They have not made any persuasive case that it is desirable or worthwhile. I suspect it is there way of gaining access, to keep tabs on their customers. An invasion of privacy.

I have gotten a letter five times from this company, Coventry Healthcare. This is a database company that is contracted out to gather information for their data base. They want all they can get on you. They have called numerous times and I have told them I am not interested, that I get a yearly exam and all the perks from my health care physician. They keep insisting and NEVET give up. Why, because they work with these insurance companies and guess what the government to get information on us. They treat you like your doctor is stupid and they know everything. Just want all the information, they can get from you, so it can go in the government data base. Don't believe me, just goggle it.

I have had Coventry for 15 years.  I LOVE this company.  I got a letter asking me if I wanted the evaluation. At that point I could not schedule an appointment but when I had the time I called them. It is set for next week.  I am sorry for whoever did not appreciate the visit.  I had one a couple of years ago and LOVED it.  I got a lot of information and solved some issues I had.  I suppose it is like anything else.  What one person LIKES another doesn't.  Same with food, movies, music etc.  And it is all in what you expect and perceive the visit.  This is NOT a telemarketer.  They are an insurance company, owned now by Aetna.  .

I received several calls from this number.  Never answered
