Its Dell Financal looking for payments. I keep getting calls and I owe them nothing. They refuse to put me throught to a manager and threaten me with legal action. Its a scam major scam for that matter.

Called twice this morning alone- never gotten calls from them before

I've been spammed by these people too. They've called me two days in a row every 30 mins. 90% of the calls, nobody was on the line. 10% of the calls I would hear "Hi" and the person hung up. Only ONE time did someone answer but they were so rude I hung up on them.

According to Consumer Protection (in Canada), this IS harassment. NO collector is allowed to call a customer this many times to demand payment AND they are to cease ALL CONTACT IMMEDIATELY AFTER you tell them "No more phone contact". If you continue to receive calls after making this request you can open a report with Consumer Protection. They will handle Dell personally.

i read that its not harrasment because its not an 3rd party collection agency, its acually the company thats looking for payments, and its an dialer that works, that means if there is no answer, or someone hangs up it will call right back, i know dialers ive been workin with those, the best you can do, is answer a talk with them about the situation if its an wrong number of if you are a customer, if u do so, u will most likely wont get calls

You would think if you tell them they have the wrong number, that they would stop...but they don't. We have repeatedly asked them to stop calling us and to take our number out of their system because we are not the person they are looking for....but we get calls around the clock from them still.

They caled my cell 68 times in 4 days

I got called twice today from this number.

The first time the lady started the call by asking me for security information... to which I replied YOU called ME. I have no idea who you are. I'm not giving out info to someone I don't know. "but this is our policy" she says. "I don't care. Do you not see how stupid that is?"

Then they called back later, I pick up the phone and get "Please hold, all of our representatives are busy". WTF?

This stupid number: 888-491-5685 keeps calling over and over and over... I was putting my son to bed, he is only 8 months old.. And they kept calling and keeps waking up my son!!! When I say HELLO the call only last for 3 sec and they hang up!! They won't leave me alone!! I never heard of a voice or anything but its getting on my last nerves!!! Sorry I had to vent!! DELL better stop doing this sh*t!!

received a call from this number @ 9:11am Sept 10, 2010 answered phone and person did not speak I said hello three or four times then about 30 secounds they hung up, checked my call display and seen they have called yesterday also @ 6:22 pm.

We've been harassed by this number today (March 5, 2011).  Every time we've answered, there was no one there and then it would disconnect.  There was no indication that it was a number from collections.  I then dialed the number to see if I would reach someone from it.  I let it ring for about 1 to 2 minutes before a voice mail picked up.  It was for some guy who said he wasn't there and to leave a message followed by a 10-4.

This number has called me approximately 48 times today, 50 times yesterday, and 60 times on Tuesday according to my callers list.

I have never purchased from Dell, I have not signed any contracts with Dell, but they continue to call. I tell them they have the wrong number, but they say that I'm a liar and hangup. That's only when somebody actually answers, the rest of the times, it's just instant-hangup.

One time, somebody did answer and said they were looking for an "Amolak Singh".. I've also been getting this persons mail for the 2 years that I have lived here, so I'm guessing that he used to live here.

I want them to just [***] off.

And when you actually try to CALL THEM BACK you have to deal with their idiotic voice mail system that was designed to not let you get anywhere. God forbid you be able to update your information with them so you won't bounce a payment to make them extra money!

Don't have a clue who keeps calling me from this number, but it is constant.  It has become my alarm clock because they call promptly @ 8:05 in the morning, and then about every hour after that throughout the day!

I've tried calling them back, but the recording comes on saying that it's a local phone number and it won't go through if I don't use the correct 10 digit number.

dell financial calls every 10 minutes, even on Sunday and my payment is NOT late.....BEWARE of DELL!!!!

Money is sitting in account, called Dell financial up to tell then to take money. They tell me they won't take money until June 30 and they are going to call me several times a day until then?!

I just have to change the classicification of call from debt collection to prank call. Due to the fact that my payment has been sitting in the bank since May 30. I call them up to tell them to take my money it's there in the bank and they tell me that they won't take the money until June 30 and will continue to call several times a day until June 30. So is this being done so that they can charge an extra $25? If so then I probably can sue and get the laptop for free. So at this point I will just wait and see until July 1 and then I will check if they have charged the $25.

call them back and ask to speak to a supervisor, tell them you have retained a lawyer, and are on the verge of pressing legal action unless they stop calling, ask for the supervisor's name, and their employee number, as well as when they work, I guarantee this will stop the calls
