Has phoned my cell a number of times over the past week; no message; no idea who they are.  Has anyone answered calls from this number?

I've received calls from this number a lot too this past week - I've answered and there's no one on the other end ever... so I stopped answering.  But same thing - no message - I'm also curious if anyone knows who they are.

I finally tried phoning the number back and got an automated response that said they were NECC Telecom.  I'm in Canada so I've filed a complain using the CRTC's online form--not that this will do that much, but it's easy so it's worth a try.

I'm in Canada too - I'll file a complaint as well to add to that.  Keep us posted.

This phone # calles me every single day at least once a day. No idea who they are.

I got yet another call from this NECC telecom company; however, today when I answered someone finally responded but initially seemed surprised to be talking to someone, and said - "Oh Hi, do you speak Albanian?"  Ummm, no.

Then I asked them to take me off their list, and they hung up on me right away.

Called my cell phone, no one responded so I hung up. I do not want to ANY solicitations on my cell phone!

Any idea where this phone number is from? I get call twice a day, even on week-ends and no one answers. I tried calling them back and it said that I can't dial from my area code, I am in Canada.

Over the last few months I have been receiving calls on my cell from this number. Most of the time no one responds when I answer. When there is a person is on the line they ask if I speak Albanian and hang up. Once my cell phone and my husband's cell began ringing at the same time with this number.the last one I received had a music tone. What is this? I don't believe it's random with no reason.

I've only gotten two calls from this number.
The first was silence with some shuffling in the background.
The second was some woman asking if I speak Albanian and when I said no, she said "Must have wrong number."
Well, funny thing is, my roommate is Albanian, so I asked if she was trying to reach her, and the woman hung up on me.
Got my roommate a little freaked out that someone was looking for her before I googled the number. Whoops.

I got a call right now n had no idea who might be. Anyway this is NECC telecom and they ask if u're interested in havin them 4 long distance service.

It's the Albanian branch of NACC.  I just called because they have been calling me.

Yeah, my girlfriend has been having these [***] call her at least twice a day since her mom gave her number for buying diet pills online. They say they're the Albanian NACC, which I looked up and doesn't exist. I have her phone now just in case they call again, and I'm going to give them a piece of my mind.

My father has been getting calls from this number, and it's exactly the same as what I've been reading.  Albanian department of NECC and they need his 10-digit phone number for his account, yadda yadda yadda.  He answered the first time he got the call, and the other side stated they had the wrong number, he asked if they were sure, and they stuttered a bit and then hung up on him.

I don't think the calls are from NECC. I received a phone call from this company like one year ago, I wanted to hang up, but an Arab lady was so kind, she introduced herself, apologized, and she offers me good rates to Yemen and Egypt, so I couldn't refuse her. And by the way, I'm still NECC's customer and their phone number on the statement is: 248-680-8882, not 888-523-8201.
Try to call the real number and you will find out who's behind those annoyng calls.

I'm in Canada too, but I never received phone calls from a phone company like this. And you know what's funny? I really need a Long Distance provider to call Moldova. Do you know one? Somebody told me that BlueTone or BTone is OK and I have to check it.

Hi, Irinuca. Why don't you try Pulse Telecom? It's a very good phone company. They have cheap rates and great promotions ($20 free to call everywhere - for December), good connection, etc. So, hurry up! I just became their customer a few weeks ago and I'm very satisfied.

I receiced a call too from Necc 2 years ago and I still use NECC as my long distance provider and i am very happy ,so dont hazitate to star using that company as your LD provider and we will talk agin after that .

Yes I agree with you but sometime we don't have the nerves to see what they sale , so I did pay attention to e call like that  a yes ago from Pulse Telecom and now I am using that company as LD provider and I am not playning to chance that fot long time becouse that company is very good, try it people .why not?
