called didnt leave a message ....telemarketer

I received a message on my Apple computer as I was opening SAFARI. It blocked Safari ...could not do anything with it. The message was in a "little" window with the Safari logo from  "http://system-alert.biz"   and it said: "online scan detected security error due to suspicious activity, please call help-center for free assistance at 1-888-528-3804 " - I repeat, Safari was blocked and my Adware program  did not find any malware. I called the number and the person had me force quit Safari, when I tried to reopen it, it would block again. The person had me open Firefox and asked me to go to the site "Teamviewer.com" ... then he asked to download the program ... at that point I said "no thank you !"  He said I was supposed to trust him. I said NO, he said that I would prob, have to call him back to unblock Safari and that his number was 855 255 9888 (he gave his extension number also).  He insisted to help me download the Viewer program, I insisted 'NO thank you'  and ended  the call.  I finally unblocked my Safari with the help of Adware (great!). Beware!

The same happened with me today. I didn't call this #, because I knew what is the story. The easy way to fix the problem is to hold SHIFT key when you open Safari after Force  Quit. Than, erase the history.
