It's a scam...they will tell you they are from IRS and you owe taxes so they will send somebody to arrest you unless you pay...just disregard it and don't even answer or call back unless you want to troll them and curse them out like i did

This number keeps calling me with a
Scam. They pose as a govt agency and threaten you. Hilarious. The govt doesn't make threat calls they send paperwork in the mail. Just FYI.

I received a call from them saying they are from the IRS and I needed to call them immediately because federal charges were being brought against me. Scam

They called and said they were the IRS and had info regarding federal charges against me. They said they had run an audit on my taxes from 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, & 2015. They then asked who had done my taxes in those years and told me I owed $4,400.00 and I needed to pay them right away or my Driver's License would be suspended, and charges filed. I laughed and told them that my 2015 taxes were already audited and if they were the IRS they would know that and that I didn't believe the IRS dealt with Suspended Driver's Licences. She hung up. This is a scam. They are not even sophisticated. Laughable.

Major scam. And highly believable. They tell you the local sheriff is on call with a warrant for immediate arrest.

Harassment

It is scam from Mumbai India. One of cell was busted by Mumbai Police last year and t owner was arrested. I think they reactivated same again. i got call from them when I ask this guy, Is he calling from Mumbai then he start using his filthy native language which i responded with same. Now I will call crime branch of Mumbai on Sunday to take action.
