they constantly call, leave voicemails, did return the call one time, "she" garbled the "name" of the company, was VERY insistant that I was the person whome she was looking for, I INSISTED that she not call me again, told me that they were not a telemarketer, as I continued to tell her, I do not want you calling me again...she hung up on me, they continue to call and leave voicemails and one stated " if you do not respond, we are forced to mail you
"something"....then mail it to me...also, one voicemail did state it was a "claim"....I am not the person that they are looking for, insist that I am and have NOT submitted any claim for anything !!!!   Very persistant and very
scary......ignore this caller at all expense !!!!!

That stupid number called acting like a law firm....Fools don't know crap about civil law.....It one thing to call and say you're getting suited but at least have all the right information on the suit as claimed now I know who this number belongs to.... So beware they leave voicemail as law firms....

Ditto -- they do identify themselves as a lawfirm but don't even know anything about Civil law!!  Agree with "stupid call 11/4/08"

I get calls from them stating that they have tried numerous times via phone and mail to contact me. Never once have I received a piece of paper from these losers nor will I waste my time. SEND me paperwork so I can see WTF you are talking about and THEN I will call you back..

I've been receiving calls from this company for WEEKS. Never actually from a person, just an automated recording.  I KNOW I don't owe money to anyone, but it just became too annoying to ignore any longer, so I called back.  The woman on the phone asked for the number I was calling from, which seemed strange to me, but I gave it, and then she asked if I was Amy Something.  I am NOT Amy.  She was rude and suspicious and when I asked that the calls stop she became hostile. I told her I thought the calls were harassing and she blamed me for the calls! Then she said they'd stop the calls if I asked nicely and hung up.

Got a call from another number saying there is a court date for attempted defrauding of a lender (ie I didn't pay off my payday loan and my bank account was shut down) I agreed to a payment arraigment, even though they could not tell where my "court date" was only that it was in my county and gave up a banking info for a pre-paid deit card. Got transferred to this for "banking verification" and they could not verify my routing or account number. I asked for a written verification for the paayment arraignment and still have not received it two hours later. I am not paying them a dime, 98% of payday loan lenders do not have the time or resources to take this to court anyway. I just think it is funny how I have a court date but they refused to give me any loaction or time info. This is not a 3rd party mediation or law firm, it is a shady collection agency.

Get their address or fax and send them this even if you don't owe them anything.  They Can't disregard it.  Also, you state attorney general probably has an office that you can contact to file a complaint:

it so scary this person name Mrs Millan as number 1-888-580-4441 just had called at my work. Since they didn't know I'am deaf. They spoked with my mother saying that I owe money. I don't owe nothing and I have no idea what going on. Do not trust them. They just trying to scare all of us. It is very wrong for them doing that. So, I agree with LE and make sure you have attoney back up if anything happen. because I just did called my attoney about this information. Oh believe me it been rough. They as Pretending to be Attorneys: Brewer, Michaels and Kane kept calling calling and calling. They are very rude and called me lair that they don't believe that I'am deaf.
So, I finally got my attoney and that they can't be calling at my work, family and friends. Watch out and becareful with them. They play games. They think they know lawcivil but they don't. Remember you got to have attoney back up in case if something happen. Yes I don't owe nothing and no clue how or what happening.

i just recieved a call too and when I tried to call them back, I got a recording saying that they could not accept a private caller number. I was using a company phone with its ID! now what is going on?

Left a message for a friend who is in terrible shape due to the current crisis.  because of the comments above, I am not even going to bother and bother her by letting her know.
