Weird one. I answered call. No Responce at all.

No one answered when I picked it up.  I have been getting a lot of calls for the past 2 weeks and I am on the Do Not Call list.
I don't know how to stop them.

Just called didn't answer it and they left no message.

Verde Energy USA is cold calling trying to get people to switch.
It's a calling machine so there is not necessarily someone actually listening on the other end.
If you're on a Do-Not-Call list, then you have the responsibility of filing a complaint, otherwise the
system does not work.

to file a complaint, which takes less than a minute.  OR sign up for the Do-Not-Call AND make complaints when telemarketers call you and violate the law.  This is also the quickest way to get telemarketers to stop calling you.

8886178369 is Verde Energy. In my case, it was an attempt to trick me into changing my energy supplier. I am on a do not call list, and dislike the deceit used by Verde Energy. Please report these bozos.

Dumb ass. Stop calling me about switching my electric company. Who cares !!!!

All the calls you get about 'Switching your Electric Supplier" can NOT be reported to the DO NOT CALL registry.  You have a business relationship with your present electric company, and they are required by State Law to give your contact information (but not acct no or anything else) to the alternative energy suppliers.  Therefore the DNC rules do not apply to them.  When they call, just tell them "No Thanks" and also say that you have already switched (so they leave you alone) and thank them for calling but you've already selected your energy supplier (whether you have or not) and hang up.    It's fun and easy.

The do not call list doesn't work. Period. It is absolutely useless in dealing with these robocalls or cold calls. There have been thousands of complaints filed against every one of these entities and they're all still in business. When these companies constantly change their names and/or phone numbers there is nothing any authority can do about it.

I would like to be put on your do not call list now! I don't ever want any more calls from your company ever again...I am on the National Do Not Call List so if I get another call I am going to report you to the Attorney General and file a law suit!

Not True. My phone # & electric bill have nothing in common due to an unusual living / working situation. I get these calls constantly.

James, you don't listen, I told you I was on the do not call list and you continuted to speak and pitch your sales pitch.  I have reported you and your company to the do not call registry and BBB.

Receiving calls from this number, there is nothing but silence. Trying to block it, "There is no such number." I believe that because no one wants to say anything. Very annoying to get up to answer the phone with an injured knee only to hear "nothing." They have called before & I get same results

How is this one not required to follow the do not call list rules, any ideas?

They called and a males voice said "Hello" three times on my answering machine and hung up

A lady was on the line when I answered. She suggested that I was a Verdi customer and offered a $50 card
foor upgrading. She wanted the info from a bill and said she would wait while I got it. I told her I'm not one of their customers and hung up.

I switched to Hudson Energy a few years ago and got hosed. All kinds of promises I would save tons of money on my energy bill. Instead my gas and electric bills went way up. A total scam. Filed a complaint with the PSC and got a $386 refund and switched back to my local energy supplier. Verde Energy is the same type of bait and switch scam. Just don't answer any toll free calls unless your expecting one from a source you know.
