This number called me twice.

beleive they call them selves a mediation service really a collection agency

This same number keeps calling me

I was given this number from a suspious process server named Hal winters who works fir Dc solutions. He said he was hired from National meditation services..which is the number above. They asked for my husband, tried getting personal info from me....when I called that number & asked for Hal winters & they had no idea who that was ! They are both trying to collect money....not going to get one red cent ! The same thing happened to someone we know..they were served papers so they took it to the court housr & the court house had no idea who the heck this was. Its just a scam to get money from you.

I have been called from a guy on the phone, stating that I was a refference on an account of my sister. The guy called me starting fom 3-8-2013,  3-12-2013, and today 3-14-2013. The call from 3-12-2013 really got me in a rage. First of all the guy never identified who he was, so I became very directive towrds him on my phone(Cell Phone) in responce to his forceful talk, to me regarding this matter, or situation I knew nothing about. I would of let the whole thing go, "but when he said he would have me in court," I became very frustrated. We went back in forth with forceful talk. The guy finally hung up. Keep in mind i am on vacation why this was taking place. On 3-14-2013 I recieved a message on my phone(Cell Phone) from a guy called Norm, from the number 888-617-9696. I called the number back, naturally I was already heated, I got the recording instructing me to press 1 for english, press 0 to speak to a representative. I followed the directions, got a representative, and asked to be transferred to Norm.
I was the n transferred after a brief hold. Norm then picked up the phone, at that point I began to identify who I was. I then stated the reason for my call, norm became rude over the phone when I asked to be transferred or, for him to give me the number to the place that called me. He refused to cooperate with me, and hung up on me. I called back, following the same directions, only this time I got another guy. I got into a conflict with him over the phone.  I do not mind people calling me to handle a financial matter, but just do not tell me that you will have me in court when I don't know who is calling me, and I don't know where you are calling from. I get phone calls from other debt collectors, the only difference is they do not act like this particular company. The way they handled this matter was totally unprofessional. Do not be rude to people that have nothing to do with the matter, point blank. The only reason I got to this web site, I performed a investigation my self, so something had to be donewrong to make me stop on my vacation and get on the computer and type this letter to you guys, when I am on the computer typing when I am not on vacation.

Like the person above - I got a call and received 2 voice mail messages from a mis kimberly Scott at this number 888 617 9696 and says that she will be making a service call to my place of employment or residence -I was also threated that I had signed an intent to appear in court - will call again on Wedrnesday morning to research further.

Anyone getting a phone call from this number needs to know that their action are illegal.  If they say they have a case against you.  Ask them what is the case number or file number.  By law they have to give you this information.  If they can not give you this information their is no case against you in a court of law. By law they are not allowed to tell you their is unless there is a case pending in court.  This is against the Fair Collections Act of 1978. They also have to tell you who is bringing a case against you.  They can only give this information to you no one else like a relative or spouse unless they are calling a community property state where the spouse is responsible for the other spouses accounts.  This is not so in all states. This is considered third party information and  is against the law and you can come back on that company for breaking the law. They will owe you instead of you owning them. Also ask for a address and send a certified letter to this company telling them they can only get a hold of you by mail no longer by phone make sure the letter is signed for.  They will no longer be able to contact you by phone only by mail. If they call you again you can bring action against them for violating your rights.

Also when you hang up one this number by law they are not allowed to call you back for 24 hours that is the law and they are not allow to call you on your cell phone at all by law.  These companies do these things because they know you do not know the law.  If this is for a computer loan that you did not sign for and they only have a typed signature on the computer any one can type your signature they need a real signature to be able to take this to court. A lot of these are scams to get money out of you do not full for this scam.

How do u get a for change going to stop these people, they called me and it went down they are nothing but trash they will get not one dime.
