888-631-3028

I got a text message spam from 512-888-1045 promoting this number:

BLACK FRIDAY PROMO: You WON 2 FREE Vacations With A Purchase Of Rental Car.
Call Toll Free: 1888-631-3028  Reply "Stop" To Unsubscribe.

Got spam message on cell phone saying I'd won a Florida trip. My call display says number that originated call was 9024025304.  Scam telemarketing company.

I also got a message on my cell phone saying HUGE Canadian Giveaway!! Call 888-631-3028 You've been selected for a week long Florida Vacation with purchase of a Rental Car Promo Code: XMAS

I called the number with my free iPhone MagicJack app to find out who it was.
I was put on music hold immediately before human intervention for about 2 minutes or so.

The person said she was in Nova Scotia and with a company called Preferred Guests and she pointed me to the following web site page: http://bestvacationsever.com/index.php/layout/florida/orlando

She said I had to rent a car from the company called Alamo (not sure of spelling) to qualify. When I asked her if I went to Alamo would I qualify. She said they would need to set it all up.

I don't think it is a scam, I think it is just a way to get business.
However, I don't know where they got my cell phone number from and I don't appreciate having to pay for an unsolicited text. I know a text is not much but it's more the principle than anything.

Please avoid. They are a well known scammer and Police are well aware of them due to 100s of complaints

I got a message from this number telling me I won 1500. Too good to be true who ever it is i find the activity to be extremely suspicious. I even called the number no pick up.

I received a text from 941-840-8748 touting this number.  I was #3, as well.  These dogs should be whipped.

Thanks for the info; I just got this on my phone as well.  The only thing I have done out of the ordinary lately is that I booked a hotel with Hotwire.  Did they get my number that way????  Not cool.

I got a text message about winning a bahama vacation from this number 888-631-3028

Good news, these scammers have sweetened the pot and upgraded to fictional trips to the bahamas (sic).

"pack your bags your invited to a free cruise for 2 to the bahamas just call 888-631-3028"

I got the message about the Bahama cruise too. However I was asleep when I got it and the preview read "pack your bags". Sure woke me up.

Got the following text from 808-382-2601 (HI number)

Platinum rewards, your XXXXXXXXXX has been chosen in our raffle to win a free trip for two to the Bahamas to claim call 888-631-3028

Sounds like a scam, considering I never participated in any raffles.

These people text me with the same Bahamas stuff. I just informed them that they won an award for being a dick face, just to waste their time. It is Friday night for a few bored minutes, lol.

This is some type of scam. I received at text stating: "Spectacular news, You just won a cruise to the Bahamas, just call us at 888-631-3028." The text originated from 203-300-3899.

What do I have to do, change my number to get a break from this insanity?

Just got a message from 888-631-3028 "gather your belongings, because you have been drawn for a trip to the bahams.
