I been receiving phone calls from the same number for the last couple of weeks. When I final returned the call today, the person who failed to fully identify himself asked me to confirm that I was not a person with a similar name. Unfortunately, this idiot on the phone may have thought that I just fell of the boat last week asked me, implicitly, to provide my sensitive information. As if I should have inferred it by his question. The conversation went as follows: 'Are you person X born in 1953.' 'Oh, I'm not person X and I'm not going to give your ignorant ass my year of  birth because obviously your a jack-a-loon and I responded to inform this so-called business to stop fishing for my private information, and I simply did not care enough to answer your moronic questions.

Had the same experience - some dumb BOX with a fake JOB trying to renew / revive OLD debts - NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I have been receiving calls from this number on my fax line, so I just pushed the accept fax button.. Weird.. They're calling at least twice a day..

This company, Plaza Associates repeatedly calls my home asking for someone that doesn't live there. I called them and asked them to stop calling.  The woman was very rough and manipulative. She kept askign," are you sure you don't know person x?" I told her no.  Then she said, "hmm...that is strange because the phone number you are calling from has the same last name as the person we are  looking for." IMPOSSIBLE I told her - My name is nowhere the same AND I was calling from my work phone, which is a company and not registered to anyone's name.  She continued to ask me if I know this person and I just said that I wanted them to stop the calls and hung up.  Very, very aggressive and I am not even the person they are looking for.  I can't imagine how they are with the people that they do find!!

It's from "Plaza Associates".   Apparently, they're a bogus debt collection agency.  Do NOT give them your date of birth or your SSN.   They may try to get you to pay them on behalf of a debt that you really do have but they now say is delinquent. Do NOT do that.

SAME SITUATION. HATED TO TALK TO THEM AGAIN. THEY CALLED WITH ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER AGAIN.

I had the same thing happen today asking for the last 4 digits of my SSn I asked who they were they said Plaza Asscociates.. They asked again I said what is it in regards to? They said they would tell me when I give them my last 4 digits of SSN I started Screaming at them I said this is myidentity I will not give them my number and asked them one more time who they are why they were calling ..
They hung up oh and it sounded like a person from India I could hardly understand!!!
