This company calls my house many times a day.  When I answer thee is never anyone there.  It is just silent, then it hangs up.  When I call the number back it says "welcome to the insurance center" then puts me on hold and mentions something about Bank of America, and then says they are closed and to call back.  I am highly irritated.

That is a third party company calling you to offer you insurance.  They call all customers of Bank of America.  Being on the National DNC list does not affect whether you can be called by this company because of established business relations with BOA.  Call your local branch and ask how to be removed from these calling lists if you cannot contact anyone at (888)665-9900,

I am a Bank of America customer so this makes sense. I have been getting these calls everyday.

I have received these calls on and off for the last year and I have never been a customer of Bank of America. Probably just another bunch of scammers out to harrass whoever will answer the phone.

We aren't members with them either and get calls from them quite a bit. I don't answer calls from 800 numbers- or anybody I don't know (since not many people have my home #).

I'm just glad it wasn't one of my utility companies saying that we forgot to pay our bill!

I keep receiving calls from the listed number 888-665-9900.  I would appreciare it if they would stop calling my home.  The answering machine is coming on but they never leave a message.  My home number is 510-799-6672

They call evenings sometime after 9pm once a week. Noone there.

I'm not a B of A customer either. Doesn't make any difference- sleazoids.

called me at 8PM last night after I called and asked them to remove my number and stop calling. I'm also on the national DN Call list. This is harrassment!

They just called my house and it is almost 8pm at night.  They resfused to talk to me but would only talk to my husband as they said it was BofA and regarding his account.  Made me suspicious but they still would not talk to me. I feel better knowing it really is BofA and they are only trying to sell insurance, but now I'm annoyed that these calls may not ever stop.....

This number calls my house 6-8 times a day at all hours. My son has an account with Bank of America but my husband and I do not, and my son is away at college. I know for a fact that he put his cell phone number for all contact numbers when he opened the account so I don't know how they even got this number. We are also on the DNC list. Same thing as others, answer but no one there. Called my house at 7:41 AM this morning.

I finally answered the phone tonight at 8:30 p.m. When she asked for me I told the woman that she had a wrong number. She said that she would note a "wrong number" on her file. Hopefully the calls will stop.

The state of Nevada forbids harrassing phone calls under statute 201.255 There is also a phone number listed in the phone bok to report calls from your residence and your work number.If it is insurance there is an opt out number 800-448-2755

I receive calls from 1-888-665-9900, twice a day.
They always ask for my wife.
She's never home.

I just  called 1-888-665-9900 and was told by the CSR that answered the phone that if YOU are getting calls from this number - that these calls are actually generated from YOUR Experian Credit Reporting Agency.....LOL

AND She also told me that the opt-out choice actually takes up to 12 weeks to have your phone number removed from their system......LOL

SO, then I asked about "Cease All Calls"  letter, and she said...That would also take 12-weeks..........what an IDIOT!!!

I just spoke with my lawyer regarding these idiots AND he said that he definitely wants me to mail-off a Cease & Desist letter tomorrow via certified mail...........I need to look-up an address!

When I find an address, I am mailing off a Cease & Desist Letter tomorrow via certified mail, AND I bet THEY will either stop calling right away OR THEY will make me rich BECAUSE I will be suing them for violations if they DO keep calling my number!

We receive call from this number at least 3 times 7 days per wee.

Have received several calls from this number and we don't pick up unless it is someone we recognize on the caller ID.  I am now using the function on my Panasonic cordless phone to block these numbers once I check places like whocallsme.com and verify it's a nuisance.  I am adding my comment because I noticed a different Caller ID from others that have commented.
