Received both an email from Steve W. Carson (SteveCarson3@yahoo.com)and a telephone message (888-689-8939)regarding an ad posting on Craigs List.

SteveCarson @ gmail .. replied and got a no such email address from webmaster.

jacking with me about listing my truck I had on craigslist. They wanted $200.00 told them to never call me again. They still have three more times tis week.

I received a call from this company too just 3 days after I posted a truck for sale on craigslist. I am glad I googled it; it sounds like a scam.

I received an automated call from this scumbag company. They give you the 'option' of being 'removed' or to speak with a representative. I opted to speak with a representative. When he got on the line, I told him what he could do with his offer and I used more profanities than I have in a long time. I hung up. He called me back, so I cussed him out again and then sent their phone number to www.fbi.gov as a harassment call.

Caller left message concerning my RV on Craig's List, so I called the # back thinking someone was interested in buying the RV.  Representative wanted me to list my RV with his company, National Motor Sales, for $199.  I told him I'd think about it and call them back later, he gave me a different number to call back: 866-276-8190.  He said his name was Alex Stevens.  Sure sounded like a scam to me.  I'm sure he'll be calling back, when he does he'll be getting an ear full.

I got an odd voicemail from 888-689-8939.  Said if i want to sell my vehicle I had to respond.  I assume it is about the vehicle I had on Craigslist. I googled the number and found this site.  Thank God for google!

I received an email from my craigslist listing of a motorcycle (just put it on 2 days ago!) Anyway the email wanted to know if my motorycle was still for sale and to call "Vance" at 866-276-8190.  I thought someone was interested in buying it, but then I googled the # and found out what it is.  Thanks....(boy they sure don't pay attention to the "not ok to solicite this customer" deals on Craigslist huh?)

I also got an email about my craigslist car ad from "Vance":

Hey,

I was wondering if the car you're trying to sell is still for sale? If so, I think I can help find you a buyer. Call me, my name is Vance.  If I don't pick up leave a voicemail for me or one of my associates. Please let them know that you had recieved an e-mail from me.

These guys are an advertising company wanting to charge you money to advertise items that you have for sale. They find you on craigs list, auto trader etc... They claim to be a charity because charities are exempt from the do not call registry but they really are not. They call from numbers such as 1-323-813-0334, 1-323-813-0335, 1-323-813-0336 leaving retuen numbers like 1-888-689- 8939 or 1-888-836-6284 so they have a bunch of phone lines with a computer generating thousands of calls all day long. If you are registered with the do not call registry simply keep filing a complaint at www.donotcall.gov (it takes 2 minutes)every time that they call and if you do not have your number registered then it is a GREAT idea to do so because once any number gets a certain amount of complaints the telemarketers are fined HEAVILY by the feds. I have found that if you call them and request to be taken off of their list your calls become more frequent and later in the evenings. I still get them after 10:00 pm... especially on weekends. Also... you can contact the phone company and file a complaint with them and they will tell you what to do to file harassment charges with them.

Friend was contacted by Karly to sell his vehicle.

They gave a P.O. Box to send payment but gave a physical address of 1057 Lakeland Florida....that is a post office address.

I also ran www.nationalmotorsales.com and two of their testimonials reflect names that are as common as Bob Smith.  The third name, Mercedes Lackey in Grand Junction, Colorado did NOT come up...as in there is/has not been a Mercedes Lackey in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Will I call this operation a scam?   Well, let's put it this way...  I was born at night....but I wasn't born last night.

I would not use this service.

I received an email regarding a product we had for sale on Craigslist. I replied to the email and it was returned.  I Googled the phone number that was in the email (866-852-9712) and found this site.  The only information the email had was to call and they can help me sell my vehicle and to ask for "Clyde Miller".

Well I got a call from Regee at 888-689-8939 he mentioned he could sell my car for more than I was asking.  I was about to call him when I round this site.  Thank you for anyone that made this site happen.  saved me the hassle.

Received a message telling me to call Dell right away because he can help me sell my motorcycle. There are thousands of people interested in the kind of motorcycle I have.

Not one of these people who have let their opion be known has ever done business with nationalmotorsales.com ,so they know not of what they speak.Opions are like a_ _ holes, everybody has one.

I got a call from Reggie. He left a message that he needed to speak with me right away. He claimed that they had sellers who were purchasing vehicles at or above blue book value. He left a number of 888-689-8939. I did a reverse phone search on yellowpages.com. There is a fee to recieve the address and/or location for this phone number, so I did not look it up.

He said he saw my ad on Craig's List and he wants to help me sell my boat.  Call him at National Boat Sales, 888-689-8939.  I am not interested in such calls.  Googling National Boat Sales did not reveal a responsible company by that name.  If possible, I authorize you to block that number.
