message said to call Blue Cross at this number. Turns out to be a telemarketing scam, not Blue Cross!

Called multiple times - never answered

I received a phone call from this number and they left me an account # and ref# for blue cross and blue shield.  After reading things here I am not calling that number back!!

This number was part of a junk fax I received where they identify themselves as www.FirstRankGlobal.com

The call said it was from blue cross or something, seemed like tel scam so I hung up and the call tied up my phone line for 20 minutes.

They called twice consecutively with no voice mails, when I tried calling back it just rang and rang.......

Called my office but then hung up immediately. Twice

I have received about 5 calls from this number in two days but they never leave me a message.  Very frustrating!

It's not a scam. It's a 3rd party contracted by Blue Cross to take a survey of existing subscribers.

"Rachel from Cardholder Services" has been calling for years, despite my attempts to get rid of her. When you press 9 and ask to be taken off the list, they just hang up. You'd think these jerks would get the message that their calls are unwanted!

It was blue cross blue shield of ma, checking on a coverage issue.

This is a legit call from Blue Cross about updating their records: if this is your only health insurance or you/or spouse have additional insurance, which one is primery or secondary, etc. If they don't have the correct info, they WILL refuse payment to your doctor or pharmacy, they can be real pricks about it.
