Who are these people

I don't - but would like to - know.

it's Plaza Associates.  They call at like 5-10 minute intervals 3 or times in a row and never leave a message.

They called about 3-5 minute intervals and numerous times. I have not answered since I do not know who they are and they never leave a message. I eventually called from a different land line and they claim to be Law offices of William Siegel and Associates from NY. They could not tell me what type of law practice they have and kept asking for my name and number which I did not want to provide because I do believe it is fraud/scam. It appears that they are a collection agency, but I know that I do not owe anything - I am on top of my credit and I pull my credit report once a year.

They call anywhere from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, never leaving a message. Reverse look-up says it's an invalid number. How can that be when it shows up on caller ID?

They are spoofing the caller ID, ATT call blocker won't register it as a valid number.

This guy asked me to verify my date of birth and last 4 of my social.  I didn't give out my personal info to a stranger.  He claimed he was a "debt collection agency" but did not give a name, and I have not defaulted on anything.  I have nothing in collections.  When I didn't give my info out he said "it appears you don't want to take care of this problem" and hung up.  My gut says this is fraud, trying to get my personal info.  They have called every day for the last 3 days, and sometimes I answer and there is no one there.  Suspect!

Can these people call before 9 am?  They did.  Isn't that against the law?  Who do we call to report this?
