This is apparently some person threatening to sue over old debt. So OK, First off,it is not in the best interest to sue you because it will cost them more to do so. If you don't make good money,or any money the judge won't make you pay anyway,making this threat ridiculous. These people are paid when they get you to pay,so they use all kinds of ILLEGAL & UNETHICAL LIES to try to get money out of you.
And also, if they dare tell ANYONE else besides the person the "case" is about ANYTHING about ANYTHING, that's also ILLEGAL.

There is also a statute of limitations, please check by state.
