Call with a recorded message advising they are from "Canada Revenue Agency" or "CRA" and that they have filed a lien  and that they will execute unless you call their number immediately.

Same issue.  2 calls in a row this afternoon

Got a call this morning and a) they sounded American, b) it was a recording that said it was to 'your name'...they didn't have our name!

Called at 6am . Left auto message that I owe Crs and they are putting a lien on everthing blah blah. Get my attorney to call them or else. Total scam.

They call and leave a threatening msg as Peter above noted every couple of months.  I have reported it to  the Fraud Dept.

Scam, pretend to be from CRA,, heavy Indian accent. When I asked for some personal info for verification, the caller tried to bluff with threats of liens, law-suits, etc. I asked him to close the phone before I call the RCMP and he meekly obeyed. This morning called again, left no message. CRA site warns of these scams.
How can you remove that number from their provider?
