I was called today by these people and was so confused. During the agreement recording, there was two people talking at once and you couldn't understand what it was you were suppose to agree to. So the person on the phone would stop the recorded message and tell you that this part doesn't apply to you but its okay just say yes to move on. Then they would replay the recorded message so you could reply with a yes. Don't agree to something you don't understand. Needless to say I closed my bank account before they could take any money out of it. I won't be so confused next time for sure.

I just noticed a check withdraw on my mothers account with this # I called they said they were a third party collector. Took out $447. out of checking account

I just noticed a withdraw from my mother in laws checking account for $447.34 from this number.Will be going to the bank in the morning about this and also to the police department.

Noticed a withdraw on mothers account dated 4/27/12 in the amount of 448.74. Check # way out of sequence and not matching original checks. Payed out to Check Process, Will contact bank/police and reporting this as fraud. There are no outstanding depts that would be linked to this account.

Additional info...Caller on the fake check was also YR Benefit / TID 161NW2EFZPCCBCUC. When you call the number back it answers as Third Party.

Same on my grandmothers account! Check #1042 for 447.34!

Updated to prior posting, googled yrbenefits (was the name typed on the check for payment) google returned result of 'www.yrbenefit.com' I contacted them on the main number listed and they were rude and dismissive of the fact that somebody could possibly using their name to collect funds! Said they had NO fraud/billing department because they were a 3rd party! Did further research on their website and noticed a direct deposit form with jpchase Morgan as the header. Contacted chase and said yrbenefits is affiliated with them (much more helpful and sincere) said best option is to contact bbb so that is my next step. Contacted the 888-778-0073 number rude and dismissive would not let me speak to a supervisor without providing name and info but supposedly 'stopped payment' on the check. Finally spoke to 'supervisor' saying I'd like to speak to someone in billing/fraud said could only give me fax info. I told them I wanted a real number to speak to someone he said 'I cannot give that to you and if you want to sue us you can file a class action suit' very angrily and hung up on me! I'm so tired of bad people taking advantage of good people!!

they did the same thing to my mother, 89 yrs old and only on Social Security.  I hate people like this.  Has anyone got their money back?

Same here - my mother taken for $447.34 - told she would get refund in 21 days.  Now over one month late and call and get no information.  YR says they do not have funds as they are a third party.  Will not give contact information for supposed company.  Unbelievable!

Same thing happened to my mother.  Check sequence way out of whack; charged $447.34 to my mother's account.  She swears she did not talk to anyone, but they have her checking account number, including routing number, address and phone number.  They are called YR Benefits, and when you call the number, a recording answers Third Party, and tells you to call back during business hours. (this was at 10;30 am in the morning).  We will be visting the bank to file a dispute and to also file a report with the police.  I also intend to notify the Attorney General's office.

My mother age 92 also received call to verify account # which she did. Check one week later for 447.34 tried to go thru her account but I caught it and bank sent it back so she lost no money, but all her personal information has had to be changed.  Said she could not understand person calling. Company hangs up on me when I call.

Who is in the nursing home no less. She has a phone so her kids can call her.

this just happened to my mother.  I talked to the Third Party collection agency and said they would get the money back in 21 days.  Has anyone started a class action suit against this company?

The exact same thing happened to my 80 year old mother in June 2012 and she only discovered it last week when she received her bank statement and was trying to balance it. The amount debited from her account was $447.34. She said she kept telling them she did not want their services and finally hung up the phone. She was charged anyway. Her checking account has been closed and her home phone disconnected.  Hopefully she will not receive any calls on her cell. My brother came in from out of town and is checking into it today.  Thanks for all the info on this website!  Please warn all your loved ones that are senior citizens.

Ibenmed scammed my 85 year old mother-in-law too.  I just got off the phone with the NY State Attorney General's Office.  Woman on phone was shocked I was second caller IN ONE MORNING to call about Ibenmed.  PLEASE ...... everyone call them to complain ...... 212-416-8345 NY State Attorney General's Office.  If they get as many calls as are on this message board, they WILL move to do something.  Let's help each other out.  Call and register a complaint about Ibenmed stealing your loved one's money.
