888-798-9058 Phone-Caller-ID but no Name. No Message. Just silent call.

ALLSTATE Roadsite assistance sales rep.

i didn't anser, but i do have allstate roadside assistance. not sure why a salesrep would call since i already pay for it but...
they didn't leave a vm either

Got called around noon and didn't answer. I guess it's All State but I already have roadside assistance.

I got a call from this number; there was no message, just silence on the recording. I called the number back and the recording asked if I wanted more information on "Allstate Motor Club"

I received two calls from 1-888-798-9058. I was able to answer the second one and they claimed to be part of the Allstate Insurance Company calling to tell me about an Emergency Road Service Plan.  They asked for my debit/credit card number as well as my address to add the service.  I declined and immediately contacted my Allstate agent asking if it was a legitimate call.  They responded with the following email:

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I called the number and a 2nd provided verification number and nobody answered Allstate. I would not accept phone calls from this number. Any policy questions should be directed to our agency or to 1-800-Allstate. Let us know when we can be of further assistance-we are here to help. We appreciate your business and I hope you have a great summer."

It seems like this may be a scam. If in doubt just contact your Allstate agent.
