this is a scam - DO NOT give them any info!!!!!

NEVER give out any info from a call you receive
get there phone number.
If it is GMAC then call the phone number on your bank statement and find out what is going on.

I am getting calls on my cell number on a late payment. I did not give this company permission to call my cell, nor have I put this number on anything associated with this account, since I have only had it a few months. It is for me, but I'm puzzled as to how they got my number. They called my house and less than a minute later, my cell and my husband's cell rang. 3 calls in less than 2 minutes. Is this a violation to call a cell without permission???

It is not a creditor or financer of any kind.  This is a scam.  They called me and said I was past due, which I knew.  I asked them why was my online account disabled.  I told them I wanted to pay online could they unlock it.  They gave me bs about why they couldn't, They asked for my debit card.  I gave them that, but I guess it wasn't good enough.  They asked me for my routing and account.  I said I didn't want to, but they kept asking.  I hung up so they blew up my phone and my GF's phone.  I called the real Ally and Ally gladly reset my online.  It had been hacked due to the guy from this 888 number.  NOT REAL NOT REAL NOT REAL.  I REPEAT.  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER!!!!!!!!

No it's not.  seriously, scammers are getting smart.

AS STATED BELOW, THIS IS A DEBT COLLECTOR FOR ALLY (FORMALLY GMAC).  THEY ARE TRYING TO COLLECT YOUR CAR PAYMENT.  THEY WILL CALL 20 TIMES A DAY. :-/

Was 1 day late on Ally bank car loan. However after paying it on line I still recvd over 15 calls from this #. Does a bank actually conduct business in this manner. Never once did anyone leave a v/m.

I work at a university and we keep receiving calls from this number, several times a day for weeks now, and all they do is hang up without a word after we say hello.  It is very annoying!

These people have been calling me non-stop.  My car loan is a few days late.  When they call they insist that I make a payment by phone which I am not going to do.  They never leave a voice message.  The callers, both male and female have Indian accents.  I checked with my Ally Bank as to whether they have called me and they said no.  Also, the number these people are calling me from in not Ally's.  I, too, believe that this a scam.

I work at a law firm and we keep receiving calls to and then they hang up. I called back and spoke with someone and told them not to call again so we'll see what happens! Give it a try : )

I believe it is Ally Financial calling about a late car payment. They will call after just a few days (car payment due 5 days ago). And they will call multiple, multiple, multiple times a day and not leave a message. I've set up apament online for the next week before and they still keep calling wanting you to make it sooner. Again, this was when I was 5 days late, so by the time the payment posted I would have been 10 days late. Legit, but ridiculous number of calls and harassment. Just leave a message and in will call you back- don't power call to harass

My car payment is due in four days , but this number has called me 7 times today! I called the number I have for the bank and they have no idea why I would be called by them.

Its ally they harass you none stop. The one time I picked up and they said I had a late payment my husband takes care of the payments but it's under my name so I asked my husband who was right there if he had made the payment he said two days ago it had been taken out of the bank so I told the gentleman on the phone that and he said that they have problems with getting alerts that the electronic payments have been through and it's much better if you send a check and that was only two days after you were supposed to have a 10 day grace. And they call you non stop and harass you until they get their money and if their systems are bad and don't pick it up right away they still blame you and harass you its ridiculous more needs to be done to stop these people not only that but they call under a bunch of different numbers if they're not leaving a message so I'm not reaching out

If it is GMAC I have no idea why they are calling me!!  I haven't had a car payment for over 10 years.  Also I don't know how they got my cell number.  I've only given the number to 3 family members.  It's a new number with a different account and different cell provider.  So I have no idea what's going on.  I do know that I wish they'd stop calling!!  I have no idea who calls, there is no name to go with the number.

It is not Ally, it is a scam. Just got off the phone with Ally, they have no idea who it is, but it's not them. Called the nuber back and they identified themselves as Ally and tried to get information from me.

They won't stop calling

I get calls all the time from this number especially at my place of work - which I do not answer, so then they call my cell phone.  I have talked to someone about this and have reported this number before.

They called my work number and when I answered there was nothing.
