They will not id themselves. They insist on verifying your ss # and name before they will talk to you.

Call answered and no one there....how do you get any privacy in this crazy society.

they ask us for info on our son's employment and want us to give them his phone number and address. It's a debt collection agency, and my son is currently unemployed. The way they ask their questions, being so mysterious and all, gives us no inclinication to give them ANY info! Yesterday they called and I asked them to remove our number from our son's file. The woman said she would do that as soon as she hung up. Just now, they called again. My husband reminded them of their assurance yesterday that OUR number would be removed, and the girl stumbled around and finally said that it takes 24 hours to take effect. Um, yeah sure! So if they keep calling within 24 hrs of the previous calls, they'll never need to remove it? If it continues we may try to pursue harassment charges against them.

Keep calling asking for a old friend.Told them take my name off and they continue to call.

Asked if I John Leafy, I said wrong number.  Then they asked if, by any chance, do I know John Leafy...................I have debt collectors try to be sneaky.  I told them I heard he passed away a few months ago.........lol.  She didn't believe me.  If they call again, I'll tell them he moved to Angola.

This number is lying.  It is a collection agency.  They get mad when you call them on it.  

This number called my mobile phone they have been blocked and still manage to get through why are u harassing me leave me alone ok scam artists..

his is NRI/National Recovery(ies) Incorporated. They are a bottom-feeding debt collection agency of the worst kind. They lie about any and everything. They call friends and family members trying to get full social security numbers. They lie and say its for a job reference or verification of employment. They lie and say the person has a warrant out for their arrest or that they can petition for judgements/warrants. They will hang up on you if you ask too many questions. They have been sued. They do not mail notices properly. If they do mail notices they are confusing and ambiguous on purpose. They are basically Googling people they are trying to skip trace and calling anything that comes up. DO NOT give them ANY information. CALL THEM BACK AND TROLL THEM HARD to get them to STOP CALLING YOU. Know your rights, call them liars and keep calling them almost as much as they call you and they will leave you alone.
