I have received 3 phone calls from this agency.  I even filed a complaint with my local Sheriffs Dept.  They are telling me I owe Chase credit a significant balance and my case will go to court.  They keep insisting my name is xxx and they have my Social Security Number and Date of Birth.  The woman said her name was Amy Rivers.  She was polite and I explain that I filed a complaint against the company with the Sheriff's Dept and I ran a credit report and I owe no such money.  She then switched me to her "supervisor" and the women said my story didn't add up and she was going to call my employer.  I informed her I was retired military and she said I was collecting a paycheck off of her and I asked for her name and she said "your mother".  Something is definetely wrong with this so-called UCB, aka United Collections Bureau.  BEWARE - call equifax and ask for a fraud alert on your SSAN and call your phone company to make sure they are not using your phone number to make long distance calls. They called my home phone at 11:55 am, left no message. Then in 1 minute called my cell phone. I didn't recognize the 954 and I was at work, so I let it go to voicemail.

Message was very fast, broken English, woman.  Her name sounded like Ms. Dennis. Ask for someone I don't know and couldn't even figure out the name...Maybe Janet Newsley??? Said she was from the Finalization Dept of the ?city?? and "my case" had been transferred to her dept for further action. Call the office immediately or have my 3rd party representation or lawyer contact her at 1-888-861-7707 direct ext 6756. Ref #XXX (not listing for my own protection)  

THIS IS BULLXXXX. How can they get all these #'s.  I have been debt free for years with the exception of my home mortgage and that has never been delinquent.

This is a scam agency, which has been changing its name and incorporation status for over a decade.  If you get a call from them, do not answer.  Every time you find yourself in the vicinity of a pay phone, call the number back and demand to speak with Mark Slagle, the sleazebag owner of numerous  million-dollar properties all of which have been obtained illegally off of the backs of victims of his illegal activities.
Don't leave a message if he doesn't wish to come to the phone (he won't).  Call back next time you're at another pay phone.  Every couple of minutes wouldn't be inappropriate, so long as he's calling you illegally anyway.  If you have friends or family who'd like to help out in the endeavor, the more the merrier.
