They call from a blocked number leaving messages that they will serve me at my house and work. Bunch of harassing BS! I'm going to report this to the attorney general.

Lady left a message name Amanda Tyler. I have checked other websites stating they are a scam and have reported them to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Blocked caller, computerized voice, stated all my personal info was forwarded to legal services

They say I owe a payday loan and the company that I took out this supposedly loan" Greenwood finance" wants 300-500 dollars and they will settle. So, AFS say they send out a subpoena to appear in court to dispute this loan..

The number calls me from 213-379-9046. I never answer because I don't recognize the number and then calls my sister asking her how she is affiliated with me and leaves a name and number Nicolas Wright at 888-870-4030 Ext 1042. I called it back and a lady named Angela answered and kept saying please hold I a trying to find which floor you are on and I said what is this regarding and she said she doesn't know because her dept is fraud. She sends me to an extension and I left a voicemail that I read they were scammers. How can they threaten us if we haven't had any letters? I don't even know what it is about but my sister said he was foreign and she couldn't understand. I called the bank that he gave me the name of because I actually knew where it was and spoke to one of the higer ups and he assured me they DO NOT use them and that they probably got a copy of my credit report and also told me that if he called again to give him his name and number. He would love to talk to them.

"Sheila Jones", left a voicemail on 11/04/15 to call her at (888) 870-4030 re a debt that I was "involved" in.  I do not have any bad debt and have not co-signed for a loan with any other person. This is the 3rd or 4th time during the last few months that someone at that phone number called and left a voicemail at my private, unlisted phone number..... so this time I called "Sheila Jones" to advise her that the next call would be reported to the Federal Trade Commission.  My advice to anyone is not to volunteer any information, such as your address,  to these parasites and always ask them to send you all information concerning any such alleged debt you owe. 99 times out of a hundred my guess is they won't have your address or even any information they can send you. These rogue companies buy and sell old debt information among themselves and most times do not even have a relationship with the creditor company. They try to scare people into paying some or all all the debt. There are strict laws regarding these collectors. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission online if they violate your "don't call again" edict.  P.S. sometimes they claim to be lawyers or even the police. NOTE: Lawyers don't call you without first sending you a certified letter and the police will never call regarding a monetary debt.
