they keep calling...at least twice a week.  Leave a message- if i don'tcall back then i am not interested!!! If i wanted credit with scotia bank, i would contact scotia bank. But I havent'- so please PLEASE stop calling my number!!!!

So get this. I call Scotiabank a week ago and tell them I don't want anymore of these calls. This was my second time doing this so I made it clear that I did not want ANY calls EVER NO MATTER WHAT!! I even told them not to call meif they suspected fraudulant activity on my account!! Just to be extra sure I changed my phone number in the system to something I made up out of my head. I was told that they 100% for sure, were not ever going to call again,, especially from the telemarketing dept.

Of course, I get a call about 20 minutes ago asking me if I would like a pre-approved credit card!! I confirmed that it was the bank calling and not a 3rd party compnay acting on behalf of the bank. I called the bank back and they confirmed that I had a do ot call notation on my account. I am furious they did not follow that direction.

I will cancel my account tomorrow and they will never ever get any of my business again. I also arrange business financing and I would sometimes use them as a funder. This also will never happen again. I encourage everyone to blacklist Scotiabank. I will now post a video on youtube about this.

I keep getting phone calls from them and they don't give up.  I am at work and I am at home and I don't have the time or money for there sales gimmicks.  It costs me .40 cents a minute or more.  Not good!  I think it is scotiabank too.

I kept getting calls from this number and dead air when I picked up.  I called the 18888823811 number - it was Scotiabank, and I asked them to be taken of the autodialer.  The lady that picked up the phone said that she would remove me from the list.   Hopefully it's the last time I hear from them

so they have just called me twice today and i picked up the second time...it was something about a quality card maybe??? i just said not interested and hung up...im glad they've phoned other people...i was afraid it might have been a job interview right afterwards!

i receive their calls i guess few times a month.... i just don't bother to answer their calls.  if i accidently answer their calls, i just told them not interested. Period!

Called the number and got scotiabank.  They gave me the runaround to someone in Customer Service.  They wanted my credit card number.  I am not giving that out over the phone.  So I offered my telephone number and they said then there is nothing they can do.

The agent called the 888 number and could not verify that it is Scotiabank.

It sounds like either the customer service people do not know what they are doing or it's a scam.  I do not know which, but ScotiaBank is getting the credit card back. I refuse to do business with people who use Telemarketers and my company attempts to do the same.  Maybe if we all make this clear this will stop.

I am getting the same calls and i am getting very tired of that pressure tactic
If i wanted anything from scotiabank I would go there my self.

I have recieved a phone call from this number last night they started rambling on about me getting a 7.5% intrest rate and how I could save up for stuff like vacation and so on. they did not even give me a chance to ask what they were talking about, before she told me to hold the line so she could set me up an account. then she proceeds to tell me that it will cost me $2 a month to get my monthly transaction record in the mail. Also after that she tells me that it will cost me $5 each time my bank card is used. Then she rambled on about a bunch more bullsh*t. then tells me thank you for dealing with scotia bank. IS IT A SCAM OR IS THIS REAL AND SHOULD I WORRY? WHO KNOWS!!!! But I am so tired of getting these calls now I have to go and make an appointment so I can get this bullsh*t taken off my account. I really wish all you so called representatives could get it through your thick skulls to stop calling us we do not want to hear from you and your petty little offers. THANKS AND HAVE A NICE DAY!

No big deal, I just configured these constant calls to be forwarded to another bank telemarketer. It's easy and included with voip.

Also, don't mention annoying marketing company names like Skoshia Bank correctly and give them google ad hooks.

They call my Business Line every day. I refuse to Answer you all should do the same thing.

I get called everyday by 888-882-3811 on my cellphone between 5 and 6pm while I am at work. I answered from my desk once just to find out who was calling and it was dead air... everyday I still get called and there is never a message. I told Scotia Bank before to stop soliciting on my cellphone but again they call me constantly.

I just called the 888-882-3811 number and the customer service rep I spoke with at Scotia Bank said she had no idea how to take me off their calling list and had no idea why they were calling me and asked me if it was someone at my branch that was calling with was ridiculous.... GREAT JOB SCOTIA BANK! Always a satidfied customer... I am ready to cancel my account.

This number called today at 11:06 and hung up.

Received a call from this number, didn't pick up.  No voicemail.

Saw that number appear, ignored it. They didn't leave a message. Try calling the number, it is indeed Scotiabank. I don't even have an account with them, what's the deal?

Two months ago Scotiabank called and I asked them to remove me from their list.  Just got another call (which I ignored).  I don't think the new Do Not Call list will help since there's an exemption for companies you deal with.
