i RECEIVED A CALL FROM SOMEONE TRYING TO COLLECT A DEBT AND NEED TO KNOW THE COMPANY NAME

This company is a law firm. They called me and I got disconnected. I'm having my attorney call them back.

they have been calling my sister asking about me. who are they? if any one knows anything about these people, PLZ post what it is!! thanks peeps.

I received a phone call from them tonight. Thye left  a message on my answering maching telling me that I'm in trouble that charges has been filled agaist me and my only hope is to call this office at this number 888-884-5546. At the end of the messages they yelled into the phone that i have just been notified and served. It shows my unknown caller. I dont know who they are or how they gor my number. Anybody have any clue who these guys are?

I received a call from my former co-worker saying that a message was left on my old telephone answering machine that I'm in trouble and that charges have been filed against me and my only hope is to call this office at this number 888-884-5546.  At the end of the message she yells in the phone "you have been notified and served."  I don't know who they are or why they are calling me either.

Got a call on my office number from them. Same blah blah as the people above reported... This sounds like a scam. No way I'm calling them back.

Don't let them scare you. They are calling because you may have taken out a payday loan that went into default. They are trying to collect which gives them a bonus in most cases. IT'S NOTHING BUT A PAYDAY LOAN!!!!! You can't go to jail for not repaying a loan. They will scare you and say it's bank fraud because you had to use a checking account to get the loan. I told them it was settled through another collection agency but he insisted his company was more important because they are above a collection agency. I hung up in his FACE! So don't let these jerks scare you.

While you can't go to Jail for not paying a loan.. you can go to jail for writing bad checks...  AKA FRAUD

how did it go with an attorney calling them back? they will not identify who they are so unwilling to call them back. hoping for some answers here

We received a call from this number early this morning saying they were looking for my son. This afternoon, they called my sister in a different city. I was suspicious and googled the number, which so far, looks like a scam to me.

This is some bull s**t! I got a call from by boss saying someone wants to serve me. The [***] Face came to my work and gave the paper work to my receptionist. I think I'm being sued? When i called the company back they wouldn't speak with me bacause I was already served the documents. Who Is This Company?

I got the similar call today to call the 888 number. They even spoofed my cell number and left an identical number at an out-of-state residence. I had three calls to three different numbers all with identical message relating to "charges" and process service, etc. These guys are truly morons. I notified my state attorney general's office and they will receive recorded copies of the voice mail messages. I also have contacted the US attorney general's office in my region. They are getting the .wav files also. Anyone who receives calls like this should immediately contact their state attorney general's office and closest US attorney's office for next steps. You should also file a com[plaint with the FCC due to telephone infractions. You can file yoru complaint online at FCC.gov.

earlier today they called my sister and told the same thing to her and they first tryed saying it was a payday loan she told them she never had a checking account and they told her the bill was from back in june 2006 she called back and they changed there story to it was a breach of contract with rent a centar she told them she never got anything from there and they insited and instted she did and they want 360 dollars as of today or it could goto court and be over 3000 dollars so she asked for proof of the bill with her signature and she got told they didnt have that they only had very lil info and it was enough to take her to court so she told them that she was contacting rent a center and finding out wat was going on they told her that they destroyed the papers and left no trail of anything wats up with this company?

Got a call from 888-884-5546 with a claim number stating they have verified my information about some charges I will be reporting to attourney generals office have not called the number back

I had a stroke a month ago, and dont need this s**t! They called me threatening to charge me with a felony "Defrauding a financial institution" and "breech of contract".... ALL OF WHICH IS ILLEGAL

All from saying I owed a loan from Rent A Center in Idaho from Aug 06... STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS IS 5 YRS!!!!

I WANT THEM TO PAY!!! I paid $80 a couple weeks ago, and finally got in touch with the FTC, BBB, and ATTY General which ALL said they thought it was a scam!!!

LETS FILE A CLASS ACTION!!! MAKE THEM F*ING PAY!!!! I AM PISSED!!!!

I received a call from this # and I followed this genius site and got myself served with the documentation, now im looking at time in federal pen for writing a bad check (electronic check). Global isn't playing games, pay these [***] before they serve you
