The original was from 281-936-1605 and she said she had a complaint against me, and she called me at work.  She said I would be served tomorrow here and that I should call the 888-893-7010 and advise them to serve me elsewhere if I chose.  I am not hard to reach I have had all the same numbers and lived in the same place for the past 12 years and I have no idea what she wants.

message was left with case#, no contact name, message said to call to have paperwork recieved elsewhere(have no idea who or what this pertains to).

Process server uses this phone # - they try to verify address of where to serve you and if they get your voicemail they'll leave this phone #

Litigation firm.  They call after a process server is not successful in trying to serve you to let you know they are filing a judgement against you for a debt owed.  I had this happen on an old debt from 2006 that was bought out by several different debt collectors.  There is a staute of limitations of 4 years where I live in TX in order to sue for an old debt but may be different for other states.  The clock may start from time debt is charged off, but in case of TX it starts when last payment is made on account and can be reopened if debtor has paid anything against the debt to bring it current.

Sister threatened to be arrested, etc. for something she has no clue what???

Watch out these collectors use illegal tactics to collect do not talk to these scumbags if u do document name times they call any harassment they use they will try to scare you u could sue them for illegal debt collection practices!!

Did they ever serve you court papers?

The next time these predatory scumbags threaten me will be their last...guaranteed. I don't play GAMES!!!
