I'd like to know if this is a legitimate collection agency.

my wife and i live in Pa.  My sister in law in NJ recieved a call from this number looking for my wife who has my wives maiden name.  She told them she was my wife ( dont know why) and they told her she owes on a certain account.  How can they do that. Dont they need the right info to verify in order to give out personal finance matters. is that against the law? what can I do?

They called and said they were a collection agency. I don't owe anyone anything. IT IS A SCAM.

I got 2 phone calls from these people.  I don't know who they are.  Is this a scam?

Left a message in voicemail on 12/14.  Said they were NCO Financial looking to collect a debt.
First - I just got this phone # from Comcast on 12/12. Secondly, I don't owe anyone anything..
What good is the DO NOT CALL LIST.?????

We are getting these calls in spite being on the no call list.  We do not owe anything and do not know who NCO is.  Please STOP these people from harrassing us and others.

I have a lawyer in Ohio who specializes with this types of harassment. All I need to do is contact him.

Seems like a scam; robotic message to call Mark Smith. Then no one available to take call; just instructed to leave phone number.

Called again today....saying it was some kind of collection agency! Tired of the harrassing calls...i put it under "dont answer" in my contacts which helps.. but stop calling!

they call and call i never answer no msg left   and i am on a no call list why am i still gettting calls

They called my sister and they tolded her that I gave them her number and a mess.saying was sued and attorney fees are 1500.00. I also believe that this is a SCAM. SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THE HARASSMENT FROM THESE PEOPLE

everday diff times day or night.....why these people have to keep up the harshing calls  never leave msg we need to make a class action suit against people like this.....if u do not answer their calls after 2 call then quite calling cause ur not answering for a reason

After a couple of major surgeries, including heart/lung, I am tapped out of money. I get calls from that number and I am as rude as they are to me. Capitalism is a sick enterprise and should be stopped at all costs.....especially when you have several collection companies going after the same debt. So.....I play the mean guy who owes money......and tell them where to go...."No money for you, mister/madam. Sometimes I call the rude he....a madam......like to add a little suspense. Because of me being on borrowed time and actually all of my monies being disability money.....I am collection proof. Believe me.....being collection proof it is nothing to be proud of, but it sure stops those animals in their tracks, when the whiff of easy money is taken away.

I keep seeing this number on my cell. But not my house phone. And nothing in the mail.  I never get a voice mail message. This has to be a scam.
