I received a call from this line on my work phone, it was just a recording that said "final message, you havent returned the paper work that we require, press 1 to be connected to a our office live or call back toll free at 888-402-6919"

Robocall message saying it was an attorney's office, Tamara Parkin, needed to contact due to issue involving your name and social security number. Payday loan scam, extortion.

Also has gone by Equity Solutions and James Morgan, attorney.

Extortion SCAM. Fake debt collections.

There really is a Tamara Parkin practicing law in Ohio, but it's really doubtful this call come from her. They just use her name to sound legit, but they aren't.

Although you can call this attorney at the above number, to let her know that people are calling you and representing themselves as being from her office.

FBI National Press has been investigating many cases from victims who are contacted by debt collectors for debt not own by them and some who are. They use the scare tactic to make them pay. Do not give personally information, or account information for payments. Legit companies will stop complying to you after you tell them to cease contact. Harassing is illegal and contacting family members or place of employment with abusive language is illegal. It illegal to tell others besides the consumer personal business matter. If they cannot contact someone once or twice they cannot contact you anymore! Know your rights!  You cannot go to jail for payday loans or other debts. Jail cells are made for real crime not these! These people call constantly. They like to use your last name but a different first name (as if they're trying to contact someone with a name CLOSE to yours, but not actually yours). They are total BS, completely illegitimate, and should have their faces thoroughly stomped. Too dumb to get a real job, they have to scam their way through life, or join a union...

yes i have been receiing calls from this number with exactly the same message and also thye have been calling from 11111 number. i diid cal lback -blocking my number and the recording seems very suspect. it sounds like the scam from  scam artists who threaten those with outstanding payday loans. bogus.  the also state it is imperative for me to call back to avoid adverse action against me and that TODAY they will send documents to me t home or work. if a debt is legitimate this is not how a real collection agency handles things.

I never answer the phone.  Same recording comes in from several different phone numbers.
makes me want to change my phone number, but there should be a way to stop these harassing calls

Keep getting calls from this number (20 in 5 days) telling me there is a legal matter they need to talk to me about. when I dial the number back and press "1" as they say I either get a busy signal or they hang up. I was home one day and answered the phone, listened to the recording and then pressed one. They immediately hung up.

These people have been calling me for about 3 years, always using a different name.  The messages left often have such a heavy accent that you cannot understand them.  I told them to come to my work with all paperwork I would be waiting.  Noone came (not a big surprise) next phone call came I answered asked where they were I was waiting, the response was they were busy but would be there the next day, I said I would be waiting with the loal law enforcement.  NO ONE EVER CAME.  DO NOT LET THEM SCARE YOU, DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY.  They called my corporate offices of work saying that I used my work name and address as my own and now would not pay a  debt.  My human resources person said she would  not give out any personal information but would let me know they called.  Especially funny is DAVE when he calls we recorded his message and play it back for a good laugh.  DO NOT TAKE THEM SERISOULY TREAT IT AS THE JOKE IT IS.    They will eventually stop calling, but will continue in a few months from a different number since each one gets shout down after too many complaints.

They just now called me from 206-219-4305 with the message that they have been trying to reach me and to press 1 or call back to the 888 number.  I did neither, but went to Google to research it instead. Thanks for all the information.
