Got a call yesterday saying that they had information that someone was using my social security number and drivers license and to call back immediatley with the case file they provided, I tried to call back and it was a non working number. Im furious this should not be legal.....Guys name was Mr. Kelly.

I keep receiving calls from anonymous # atleast 30 times a day.  Sometimes they even call 4 times in a row.  Leaving me messages at work.  Just vey annoying.  The left me a call back # which is 888-908-9559.  They said they have my ss# and my license # and that I have a case # against me for a pay day loan.  They said if I don't pay $2000 today that they were going to sue me and that I'm going to hav e to pay tripple.  Also that they were going to let my employer know that I did a check fraud and that my license will be suspended.  They were very rude and threatening.

I know who they are, what they do, and why they are calling.  They are a law firm that is handling unpaid payday loans from CashnetUSA.com.  They will continue to call until you speak to them and try to pay off your debt.  I am trying to find a way to complain about the harassment my coworkers received from Joe Marzulli who called my office many many times over the past several days to try to get ahold of me.
Currently I am trying to find who to report to about the harrassment I received.  If anyone knows of where to report them to (I talked to the owner of the company and they are not a part of the BBB - go figure) Please let me know.

I to am reciving these phone calls saying they are from a lawyers office. That I have written a bad check and they need the money by 4:00 or its going to court. They said I uses a phoney license number but they are the fools I dont have a drivers license nor have I ever had one. I am a 73 yr old woman I dont have bad checks nor do I leave the state to cash them.This company knew every thing about me including the names of all my children and there phone numbers. They also knew my ss number. They called my daughters house looking for me and left a message on her phone in the mean time she called me telling me about them and we hung up. she then called the company back and that quick they put something on her phone to get my phone number that they didnt have to begin with they got it somehow from her phone not sure how they did this but they had me a nervous reck. The phone companys need to stop this action. I just hope no one gives in and pays these people money. god bless you all

I received a threaten call today also demanding money, and that My license would be suspended, I know these people are a fraud. when they call you, please don't give any information to them if they are legal they should have all this information. I've been scam before by a company like this before, they scare you with turning your case over to your local authorities, you can't go to jail for not paying a bill.

This number called me several times of the course of 2 weeks.  They left a message with a "reference number".  I finally called back. After being on hold for several minutes, I called back, provided a the reference number.  He asked if I new a Van Spickler.  I didn't.  After I started asking questions, the guy on the phone got extremely rude.  Threatening to press charges against me.  All I did was ask what type of company they are.   B E W A R E !

Thay are not representing Cash net.  Even if you owe thy money they keep it and you will still owe the original lender. Deal with original lender if you know who it is. If you can't remember if you owe anyone, research, check it out, don't assume anything, and report all harassment.

Got the same call from [***] Joe marzulli. He had the nerve to discuss my matter with a family member and a non family member and asked a family member to pay the debt. When i called him, i let him kno that he was absolutely wrong for discussing any of my personal business with anyone other than myself. He became belligerent, threatening license, and i had to get loud with him 2. I contacted my attorney, and i have a hell of a case. Do your research with the FCC. it is clear that a bill collector can only ask people if u work, and where do u wrk thats it... Dont fall victim 2 Joe.

Joe Marzulli calls and leaves a message with a return call number 888-908-9559.  I return the call.  Marzulli spells his name for me, tells me he works for M. Callahan and Associates, but REFUSES to give me an address.  HE DOES NOT WANT A CEASE AND DESIST Letter from me.  If you tell them to stop calling, they must.  I have a letter prepared.  They will not give me a fax number.  Prick said he will file charges on me and he will win.  I told him to eat [***] and die, file charges on me and be ready for it. I will file and answer, he will not revoke my driver's license, he will not garnish my wages, none of the [***] he claimed.  He must think I am a moron.  They can spend all the money on filing fees they want.  He claims he is suing me for that also.  He told me this was criminal charges.  NO, not in Texas.  He is wrong.  He may sue me civilly, and get a judgment, but he is totally clueless.  Joe Marzulli was an [***].  Told me I better move to Mexico to get away from him.

Just google Joe Marzulli's name and North Tonawanda,NY and you will see he is a felon with a coke habit.  He is also stupid enough to use his real name!! Just ignore the crackhead...he must really need a hit!!1 He also was implicated in a trial with American Coradius(a collection agency in the Buffalo, NY area). He is a bonafide loser no matter what agency he works for and he works for many because they all eventually get sick of his sh*t.  He probably can't hold another type of job but scumbag collector!!!

LOCKPORT — Five years’ probation and 40 weekends in the county work program were the penalties imposed on a Cheektowaga drug dealer Monday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Alan J. McGuane, 30, of Brookfield Lane, had pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling cocaine to a North Tonawanda police agent Dec. 4.

Co-defendant Joseph Marzulli, 34, of Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda, is awaiting sentencing for seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

so i get a call from this number a few weeks ago and this guy's saying that if i dont pay $800.00 he will have my license suspended and garnish my wages..so i told him to send me a letter stating all this info ..its been three weeks..i have yet to receive anything. i dont know what to do to make them stop calling me!

Joseph Marzulli, 34, of Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda, was placed on three years’ probation and 20 days in the work program for seventh-degree possession. He was originally charged with being part of a cocaine sale in North Tonawanda Dec. 4, 2007.

These people called my number trying to look for one of my relatives who alleged contracted a debt with them. Our names sound real close so I think they must have tried a skip trace and came up with me instead. At any rate, I am shocked and appalled at how menacing and threatening they can be over the telephone.  What they are attempting to do in order to collect a debt is a DIRECT VIOLATION of the Fair Credit Reporting Act! It is illegal.  Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give them any information, especially the DL or SSN!  Instead contact your state attorney general. Dispite it. Make them give you the information in writing.

Correction. Those people are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practises Act.  You CANNOT be arrested for defaulting on a pay day loan. In fact, it is they who can be convicted of a federal crime for making such threats!

They have called me maybe times telling me that they have my case in there office and that the attorney is getting very concerned about this case. That I owe then $800.00 or they are going to take this to court. They have never really disrespected me, they always call me hun and babe....kinda creppy. Im not sure what to do. I called them today and told them that I think they are a scam, and they said that I know I owe them this debt and that I just need to pay it and they will "email" me my paid in full letter. I then asked for a letter stating that I owed the debt. They told me that they could only send it by fax or by email. Isn't it illegal to deny me a written letter in the mail. I don't want an email, anyone could write that up. I want an actual letter from them. Where should I go from here. I am very concerned, they said they will issue a warrant and that my DL will be suspended and that it will be a felony charge. I am stressing out over this, and don't know what to do. Someone please help me....

these wonderful people are calling my home looking for my brother. In this internet age with no privacy whatsoever, you THINK they'd be smart enough to realize that my brother is not living at the phone number they are calling. To make their calls even more fun for me - unlike most, I have no debt, no credit card debt, no car loan debt, only a mortgage that is just about paid off.
Do you think I want these calls? The good news is - I did get through to a Mr Owen, although the company is not identified. For all you out there that get harassed by him, I almost took his head off. And he wanted to know why I was hostile...they can dish, they can't take. And if they call my number one more time, I will take legal action as I have been noting the date and time of their calls.

My family is going through a very rough medical situation and I really don't need this person calling me and telling me to pay.

I am trying to take care of our bills as best I can.  I am stressed enough with our medical problems and I don't need any more.  My husband's health is very touch and go ant the moment and this is something that I don't need.

Please help in this matter.  I will pay Cashnet when I can, but family comes first.
