They leave a message saying that they are Romano Rizzo Agency with fraud....they are a law firm but surprise.....They cannot be found ANYWHERE.
Their number is also unlisted. No yellow pages, white pages, Google or yahoo have ANY info on this number or Agency. Not even the BBB.
Just because they say they are a law firm and that you committed fraud, does not make it so.
The only things that pop up when typing this number in a search engine are things like this. People asking about it or not knowing who they are. I did however find one site that said the number is flagged as a Telemarketer, State is 'None' and Company is Unknown.
If this were truly a law firm, why can't they be located ANYWHERE as a legitimate source besides in places like this of someone simply saying they are a lawfirm.
I have called back and no web site can be given either.

After much research and having MANY people call this number, I have discovered that YES, this is a scam. I am reporting them to the police. NO, it is not a real/legal law firm.
At each time that you/someone calls this number back (block your number), a female recording will answer stating that it is Romano Rizzo and Associates. She will continue to say that if you know your party's extension blah blah blah...otherwise, remain on the line and the NEXT AVAILABLE AGENT will be with you shortly. Though I have an extension to a Mister Joe Thompson (ex.101), if you do not punch it in and just wait to be connected.....at every time you will be connected to Joe Thompson (the same freakin guy). Also, I asked if he had an email or a website that i could also contact him through. In a very shakey voice, he said NO.
Now you tell me, what kind of LEGAL Law Firm does NOT have a website and what attorney does NOT have an email address and also, what law Firm is ran by only one freakin person?

Same scenario, Joe Thompson calls and says fraud has been commited, when asked for verification of his company no information can be given.  I explained that if he did not have any verification of whom he or his company was just do what he has to do.

Pay no attention to this Lmao person. He has been following these websites, threatening, and posting personal information of others --- of which has not been entirely accurate.  He/they is/are being monitored and watched.  They have been reported to the FBI and the police (they are listed on the FBI website) but thanks to them/him posting here, we now have IP addresses of the PC used that sent out the emails (one PC has over 400 website domains attached to it...all scams).  They are located in New York and the address {fake} that they have provided (which is consistent with all of the reports against them) is an old, very small UPS store.  We also have found out that some of these people that are working for this lawfirm scam, work out of bookstores, clothing departments, run-down/abondoned factories and even tracked some down to doing activity at coffee shops via their laptops while utilizing the business WiFi.

Um...actually, you wouldn't be wondering how much bail is as you are informed prior to being put in a cell.
