This is the scum of the earth AIS Services LLC.
They put in their caller ID going nuts and a common pratice is to not leave a full message but to leave out who they are asking for.

argued on the phone with them regarding a providian bill we have been trying to make arrangements on - they want TWICE as much as the original bill- or they want a lump-sum payment for the amount and about 1/2 more ... they hang up on us when we try to discuss it.
LOVE this, one guy told us it was "physically impossible" for him to accept a workout w/a payment program. They are calling in one way or another more than twice a day and when they leave voice mail messages they are vague and take up a lot of time.
This can't be a legit company.

Who are these people. I returned the call and they wouldn't reveal information to me about the company. Zip Zero, yet they wanted my information & phone number. Of course I declined & hung up.  What's this about?

They kept calling a family member and the guy told my cousin that he was prosecuting attorney. When my cousin called back and asked how I could reach him he said that he worked for 6 am to 6-8 pm. I told my cousin just to hang up on him. The debt collector was very vague and indirectily threated my cousin. Apparently he said I had put my cousin's name as a contact number and was asking about an account I was suppose to have over a year and a half ago.

They began calling my house asking for someone who hasn't lived here in over 2 years; when told he doesn't live here they said he would be removed from their calling list. A week later they began calling for him again, when I began to explain the reason that I didn't have his new number they hung up on me, i called back to complain and was hung up on again.
I waited till the next time they called and went off on them, the woman on the other end of the phone argued back then hung up. So I called them back and had the guy removed from their list again.
At this point they started calling for some woman that had my number 3 year prior to me having. I requested she be removed from the list seeing as how i had no idea who she was.

A month & a half went by, and i received a phone call from an 'unknown caller'.. lo and behold have the automated message played, it was teh woman i had argued with approximately 45 days prior; once again she hung up on me after telling me that if I wasn't the person she was looking for then it was none of my business, and I informed her that it was my business due to the fact that she was calling my house.
So i called them up AGAIN, and as they'd done once before in the past, they informed me the guy they were once calling for was not in their system & had never been in their system...

I should also mention that today I spoke with their supervisor, who was more than willing to give me the information of their clients. I would assume that this would be against some sort of policy and seeing as how their employees had told me before that the guy they were calling for been removed, but there was no history of that sort of thing, I'd assume his giving of information was a ploy to have me believe it was some sort of mistake. Not to mention that he kept exclaiming that they'd had a system update or scan of some sort and that there was an "80% chance it was a glitch."
