- TJ| 2 repliesQwest Communications, 2 calls a day at least, wanting to speak to the person in charge of our phone bill! This is a place of business and it's getting really old. I have told them over and over to stop calling, yet they keep on doing it. Very unprofessional, and rude! What about customer privacy Qwest?
- Caller: Qwest Communications
- CarreCalls coming to my cell phone from this number despite my registry on DoNotCall. I don't pick up.
- Kimis this company with Qwest or not?
- Caller: purported to be qwest
- AKinIA| 2 repliesIt is a slammer- want's to talk to "person in charge of Qwest" account. I get it so often I now answer with much vulgarity and wish them a bad day.
- annoyedThey just keep calling for months and will not stop. If I called somwone for months...I'd get thrown in jail for harassment.
- JJI called their main customer service line (877)744-4416 and asked them to stop calling me. They didn't have a problem with this. Let's see how it goes...
- Caller: Qwest
- beenthere| 2 repliesThis is NOT QWEST! I have been down this road so many time with this company. It is a company called USBI, they are a long distance company that Qwest basically sells your info to so they can tack on an additional montly fee. BUT in order to do so, they have to call and get you to verify your qwest info, by doing so you are , somehow legally, giving yoru permission for them to become your long distance carrier. You are essentially being charged double, once for Qwest long distance and again by USBI. If you have made this mistake, you can have them removed from your bill but believe me they are a nasty company to work with... the employees are absolutly intolerable.
- LarryI have dealt with this company recently and they do calling on behalf of Qwest
is what they told me. For some reason I did listen when they called and they were actually able to answer a few of the questions I had about adding High Speed Internet at my shop. I was so impressed I even ended up having them write the order., The person I talked to was very good and had me on my way in no time. The installer came last week and I am finally enjoying the internet. - IanNot Qwest. Scam. and they will not stop. it's totally crazy.
and they're prowling these websites to post some bs positive post at the end of each thread like this.
pushy mother...- Caller: Scam playing Qwest
- What the F__kThey are nasty! And I enjoy being Nasty back!
- Caller: SCAM
- Qwest CustomerSince Qwest sold my number to these SCUM BUCKETS I will definitely switch services to a more cheaper service. Qwest you better lower my bill, or else I will drop you like a ton of bricks!
- Caller: Qwest

- Jesse| 1 replyWe got a call from this number but the "person in charge of the quest account" was not in.
So these guys called back again today! The person in charge still wasn't in, so I asked for a name and number to call back on.
She said the number was 888-920-4006 and I asked who I should ask for and she said Suzanne.
Funny thing, she NEVER actually said she was from or calling on behalf of Quest. Tell me if I'm wrong, but when Quest calls, they ALWAYS identify themselves. It's common courtesy.
Anyway, I called the regular quest support line (1 800-603-6000) and asked them about it. At first the (very helpful!) CSR just called the scammer's number long enough to hear the greeting that says its Quest and then the CSR said to me "Yeah, that's us." But when I explained that a lot of people on the internet were getting calls from that number and they thought it was a scam, the CSR (Customer Service Representative) did some more checking.
She checked their directory and found that the number was not listed - and does not appear to be a quest company phone number!
She said she was going to pass the number on to the legal department.
She said that a lot of companies are claiming falsely to be Quest in order to scam people, and that they have to routinely use legal force to shut them down, basically.- Caller: Unknown
- Jake DThis is Qwest, the rep you must have spoke to must of misunderstood. When I got this call, I hung up not doing anything to my account for fear it was a scam because the caller said they are hired by Qwest. After hanging up, I called Qwest directly, the same number that appears on my bill every month for the past 4 years, and the rep told me he could see where my account had just been noted of what was discussed on the prior call. If it wasn't Qwest calling from 1-888-920-4006, then how would internal Qwest have known the girl I spoke to and how would she have made notes on my account? This is a company hired by Qwest. I was told they have 3.
- Caller: Qwest
- Mark SThis is not Qwest or anyone hired by Qwest. They are slammers plain and simple. Many years ago I had Qwest put a lock on my accounts where I must contact them personally to make any changes in my accounts. While this stopped all the unauthorized switching, it did nothing to stop the calls. Qwest does not sell them your information.
They will always tell you they represent or work for Qwest, DON'T BELIEVE A WORD OF IT! SCAMMERS AND SLAMMERS.- Caller: SLAMMER
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TJ2 replies to just meWho r u telling to "shut up"??? Crawl back underneath your rock bitchwood!!
- westcoWho is this how do I stop them
- Klitty LeCur replies to TJIt was Qwest calling, but the conversation quickly turned to whether Barack Obama wears boxers or briefs. It was my belief that he wears girls silk thongs, but the Qwest person said that he actually wears a Kenyan genital cuff since that was part of the dream that his father had. However it was interesting to note that Michelle wears a very tight speedo to hid that fact that she/he is a tranny. Go figure. I didn't end up signing on to any new Qwest services, but had a good conversation.
- Des replies to beenthere| 1 replyIt is not USBI, USBI is a 3rd party biller authorized by Qwest to share billing statements. The phone number in question is a vendor of Qwest and they only call customers that have services with Qwest. Its kind of like these smaller insurance providers in your local community that sell insurance policies to customers for larger providers like Progressive, State Farm etc. Majority of larger companies nationwide out source these types of options to help promote the changes that have become available. Also, keep in mind one thing. You can always protect yourself by putting a password on your account to prevent dishonest individuals from changing services without your permission. It is also important to have the representative verify something only your service provider would know, such as the customer code associated with your account. This information is confidential only you and Qwest have access to this information. I have worked in the telecommunication field for years and have many ideas on how to assist customers in how to identify the good people from the bad when it comes to the phone sales.
