They are scam artists and thieves they put ads on Craigslist and want Amazon to do the transaction they will not accept debit checking cards or credit cards because they are traceable and the bank and the credit card companies will go after them for prosecution they want you to go out and buy Amazon gift cards and give them the numbers on the back so they can rob you blind I almost gave them $1,500 in Amazon gift cards they sent me an invoice amazon.com saying I need to complete the purchase with Amazon gift cards to purchase this 2002 Toyota 4Runner SUV the invoice looks very legitimate and they're using Amazon name and trademarks very convincing but there nothing but thieves in the night trying to steal your hard-working money stay away the other phone number on the Amazon fictitious invoice was +1-888-449-0642 stay away unless you want to lose $2,000 of your hard-earned cash. Danger danger danger

They almost scammed me too, same format with the gift cards.

My husband and I were going to buy a 2002 Tahoe we went to send the money trough moneygram the lady there said that it sounds like fraud so we called the fake amazon number they send us and we fell for it something in me was saying to call the real amazon store and they found that to be a fraud we lost $30 we were able to get get the rest back and I still got on Craigslist and found same truck in five different listings hope these people get caught for what they are doing

The almost got me too. I was trying to purchase a motorcycle but the order id never came up on the amazon site. I called the amazon customer support number from the amazon site and they said they had no information regarding the email that I received.

The biggest red flag was that I had to call the so called amazon financial department to give them the code on the gift card.

Watch out!!!!!
