Called stating our company needed to buy his Federal/State Labor posters.  One can get the Federal/State Labor posters free of charge from the local Workforce Development office or any unemployment office.

These folks leave you a message with a stern voice that you need to call them. Companies like this prey upon lack of knowledge of office administrators. These posters can be printed online for free. You DO NOT need to fork out $50 for a poster... unless you like the nice laminated job they send...

I just got a call from this number - saying that we needed to place an order for our Labor Laws and it would be $109 for the year and they would send us any updates as needed. Oddly enough, we had ordered these through Costco so we luckily knew something was up - otherwise, I'm not going to lie, I might have fallen for it. But, once the gentleman on the phone said, "Im going to pass you over to our quality manager"
and he simply handed the phone to "Felix" I knew it was a scam.

Nick O' Malley called from this number and left a voice mail saying to call about workplace posters.  Urm, yeah.  Ok.

They leave a stern message indicating you will be in trouble with the government if you do not call them back. We do not need to be harassed by some sales "phone clerk" posing as a law enforcement officer.  This is harassment and not legal.

Preston called from this number and left a stern voice mail saying to call about Federal Labor Law Posters. Scumbag.

"Brian' left an "important message about your state and local requirements"  Yes it's just some j.a.  trying to get you to buy these State and Federal labor law posters.

This is the number that showed up on my phone (928) 550-4523 but in the message that was left they told me to call 8889933580.  I couldn't understand what was said in the message except about the person speaking was a field agent and something about state/federal.  Now why in the hell would I call someone who leaves a message that can't be understood.  They'll have to call back and leave a message that can be understood before I call anyone back.

Got a message from Scott Masson about Labor poster.  Sounded like an emergency of sorts.  Very official sounding.  Glad I checked online first though.  Sounds like a scam.

The fellow calling left a nice enough message, but it was about updated labor posters that can be obtained without paying a firm like this.

Message left:  Hello, this is Scott Mason with Safety Services.  I'm calling in regards to your state and federal posting requirements for Texas.  I need you to call me back at 888-993-3580 and ask for Scott Mason.  Thank you.

Called back and just stated that I was "calling back" and the guy said that he was calling about updating my posters.  I told him they were updated and he thanked me for letting him know.

I really don't think leaving a message in a "stern voice" is illegal. LOL

I don't like it either, but it isn't really a scam, but a low-down dirty trick to try to fool you into thinking you have to buy from them.
