Got 3 calls at work back to back - no messages left.  They aren't supposed to call your place of business are they??

I received and email with this number on it, from what the email says its Americredit, the car loan company.

We received 6 calls back to back from a Warren @ ext 26102,from Americredit
of which we have never heard of until a search on the internet showed the telephone number 1-888-994-7861 as  belonging to  a company named Americredit a car loan company. of which no one in this house hold is has or ever had any dealings with until today.When I made a recorded call (eight attempts to reach the extension) I left a message informing them the number that they (thru agent  Mr. Warren)keep calling has no knowledge on why they are calling and that no one from this household is or ever been involved with there company! And not to call  our home ( giving the number) and that any more calls will be taken as harrassment not to call again! or we will take what ever action needed....

They are contacting me about an account I don't have with them.

Call it and ask for Floyd Jackson.....
Tell him Robert Woodson 202-888-9915  (posing as a fake Treasure in Washington DC) said I won 700,000 dollars.....
And instructed me to Call you Floyd 888-994-6178 to get my money.

This the crap I got off the phone call.

It is a scam number that needs to be reported to the police!

This Number calls me ATLEAST 3+ Times/Daily and has EVERYDAY for close to 2-3 months now. Every time they call, my phone even ping's them on the Caller ID as "Potential Scam!" But they are definitely persistent with their scam, because they won't give up and still continue to call DAILY!! 😡

Well, 1 of 2 things is happening.
1. You owe them money and they are trying to collect it.
2. They are calling the wrong phone number.
Both problems are very easy to solve.
1. If this is the case pay them.
2. If this is the case then send them a certified, return receipt not me letter.

It’s GM Financial.  If you’ve got a car loan with GM Financial, that’s why they’re calling you.

Seems pretty obvious that you owe them money otherwise you would not have been looking the phone number up.
