- SuzanneThis number 18889971637 claims to be Microsoft Technical support
but when I insist on them giving me technical information about my computer eg my isp number they hang up - DianaI just received a call from this number. I kided to answer and said hello over and over. A man's voice, accent perhaps, was covered by lots of noise. It is nearly 10:30 p.m. These people have no conscience. I plan to ask what is a computer when/if they call again. That could be fun.

- billThis is a internet IP phone number that is spoofing the phone number you see on your caller ID. The Number you see displayed is NOT the number they are calling from, they send false info thru the system that make you think that's who they are.
They are the same Scammers in India that have for the last 10 years been fooling people into giving up Their computer access information such as IP address info and allowing them access to that persons computer.
They then do several things they put a virus on your system that causes you to have to pay them to remove it, or, they take your files that hold your password info for your accounts and copy it to their computer and use that info to commit fraud. you can tell them to put you on the do not call list all you want, they are committing fraud , do you really think that they will abide by the do not call laws?
I mean really....think about it.
The best thing you can do is to play totally stupid and keep them on the phone as long as you can, DO NOT GIVE THEM any CORRECT IP address info , however If you want to have fun with them , and tie them up so they don't make money and cant defraud someone else, go ahead act like you don't know what they are telling you to do or how to do it, then eventually just tell them your IP address is 75.12.34.56. they wont be able to access your system, and it will really piss them off that they got no money out of the time they spent with you.
LOL....the ultimate goal is to make as many of those calls as unpleasant for them as you can , if they cant make money doing it eventually they will stop .- Caller: Scammers India

- illinois boyindian guy, claims to be from microsoft support. Don't get on your computer and give him any info. this is a scam.
- JohnOThis is a scam for sure. Claim to be with Microsoft. The guy sounded East Indian by accent. I played along for a bit just to see what he would ask of me. He clearly wanted to get info from my computer. In the end I told him that I had reverse tracked his number and I knew who he was and where he was and that he was trying to scam me. He acted like he didnt understand. I then told him that what he was doing was evil and that he need to get on his knees and pray for forgiviness for the evil things he was doing to people and if he didn't that he would pay for his evil deeds. He was taken aback by that and said he was sorry to bother me.
