902-567-8434 Called me in Oregon, USA  (I’m on the Federal NO CALL LIST and so that is illegal to even start with!)

A man said my IP address was flashing red. (My computer wasn’t even on!)  He said he needed my "computer login security login password" to fix it.  I told him not to call back and hung up on him.

I got a call on 5/9/11 from 902 567 8434. The man I talked to had a very thick accent and tried to tell me my computer had some kind of virus on it. It was hard to understand him, but I finally got it out of him that his company was called login 4 speed. He hads my full name and phone #. I think he had my email too. I made the mistake of asking if he was with my internet service provider, but I didn't give him any other information. I ended up hanging up on him.

Received a call at 8:46pm tonight from 902-567-8434 and the caller ID just read Sydney NS. The man had a very thick middle eastern accent and he told me my computer was flashing on the IP and that I had a virus. I told him I don't even have a computer at home. He hung up real fast after that, so fast I did not get to tell him I'm on the do not call list.

Same guy with a heavy Indian-subcontinent accent, saying I had a computer virus. Obviously a scam.

Caller with a thick Indian accent called to tell us that our service provider had complained we had a virus on our computer and are slowing down the entire internet access in area.  Caller argued that he had to gain access to our computers, for a small fee of course, to remove the threat.  FAT CHANCE! what a scam.

May 30th, 1:13 pm (PST) received a call from Nova Scotia PEI number listed 902-567-8434.

After verifying that I was not my mother but over the age of 18, a male voice with a thick Indian accent informed me that the satellite that provided my home with internet access had fallen, and that viruses had been sent to my computer because of this. Any time I connect to the internet, my computers would become inundated with these viruses. He then asked if I was experiencing these problems with my computer. I informed him I had a Mac. He then told me that I was 100% secure and quickly hung up.

    Oy vey.

Call from "Sydney NS" 902-567-8434. In broken English, the caller informed me he was calling about the computer... from the "computer department". "Is that okay?", he asked. I replied "no", and just hung up. I AM the "computer department" around here! LOL

3;30 PM a call from 902-567-8434 NOVIA SCOTIA PEI was on my caller ID. Message machine had a very confused heavily accented woman on the other end. By reading all the other reports, I am sure this is not the end of it. I live in NE Oregon.

I got a call here around 4:30 pm (in Oregon) from a man with a heavy Indian accent. He tried to explain that there was something on my computer called "Malware" and that I needed to be aware of it. I told him that I was on the No-Call list and asked what he was selling. He said he wasn't selling anything and tried again to tell me about Malware on my computer. I told him my husband builds and maintains our computers and has anti-virus software on all our computers. He tried to then tell me that anti-virus software won't help Malware.  He did not seem very sure of what he was saying so I said I don't need anything from you thank you very much and hung up.

Jut received a call to my Oregon home from a number listed as Nova Scotia PEI 902-567-8434. A woman with a very thick Indian accent kept saying, 'hello? hello?" then asked if I was (who I am), I said yes. She proceeded to tell me that she was from the 'computer department of the internet' (I'm laughing as I am writing this). She proceeded to tell me that she had been getting complaints from her "customers" that I had a virus on my computer that was slowing the internet down in my area, so she was making a 'courtesy' in calling me to help me make my computer better.   I kept her on the line for three minutes asking questions that were obviously NOT on her answer sheet and she was getting flustered. She kept telling me that she was calling a 'courtesy' to help me get through my slowness problem and help her customers.

Really?  Gee! Thanks!  You're awesome! Now listen carefully to me. I am calling the AG in my state to report you. I have your number. Take me off of your list and don't ever call me again. Now go away!
