Received a call stating I had a package to be delivered and it was returned and stay on the line. Waited and was told that I was being sued and taken to court over an unpaid balance on a payday loan thru a previous employer. The caller refused to state the company working for and wasn't very forthcoming on info.
They wanted to settle it for $100. Stated I wanted copies of all the paperwork taken out in my name and signed by me to which the lady said that I couldn't dispute the claim as 60 days has passed. There is no statute of limitations in my state for identity theft so said I'd await the paperwork and proceed with my attorney. 1st my previous employer never did pay day loans, 2nd they didn't have my correct name 3rd the amount I "owed" changed 3 times during the course of conversation.

same thing happened to me, as Anon said on feb 9.

said that they have a parcel that was scheduled for delivery but have an incomplete address press 1 or call to reschedule delivery

The same call just came to me and when I told them I had investigated this number and found it was a fraudulent call the lady said well she was sorry I felt this way and then I hung up

Got same package delivery message. I pressed 1 but all the scammed must have been busy...I didn't leave a message.

I had a second line added and whoever had the previous number was in A LOT of financial trouble.  This is a collection company that uses the ruse of an undeliverable package in order to get in touch with the person.  I explained the situation, they were very courteous and removed me from their list.

They called me as well and yold me i was getting sued
