I got a message left on my phone on 3-2-2012 from some lady working for Nationwide Investigation stating I had an Identity theft case against me. I am very good with computers and decided to to a little research online about this number, and found this information.... sounds like some kind of scam to me!! Probably got my phone number from the internet somewhere!

Received a call about my neighbor was being targeted for idenity theft and they have been unable to get a hold of them and wanted me to give them a message.  This is very strange since if there was something criminal going on I would hope they would contact the local police not their next door neighbor.

I received a call from this number, saying I have case ongoing, and if I don't call back by noon, "good luck" Seeing I'm not behind on anything I know it's a scam. However I do have a case running again a family memeber who's notorious for scamming and stealing identities. It won't hurt to call them back and question them!! If it seems like a scam you can always just "click!!"

This number has called me 10 times in one day. Left two threatening messages. The first one said there was a case pending in court today and I needed to call back in one hour.  Then they called 2 hours later and said i was being investigated for fraud, check fraud, wire fraud, internet fraud and identity theft. I haven't committed any fraud, nor have I stolen anyone's identity. They say they are trying to resolve this with me...but i'm not showing any effort in they "help".   They left my address and my email address on the voicemail. Of course the email address they left me I haven't had for over 4 years. I'm guessing this is a scam. However, I've got a call into an attorney. If they have my address, why haven't they sent me anything in the mail regarding the pending case in court today? Nor have they sent me anything regarding anything from "Nationwide Investigators".

Some lady from a so called "National Investigators Company" called me and told me I owed them $700 and would be charged with fraud if I do not make the payment by noon. I later went to my bank and had a bank statement printed. My bank statements proved that I have no connection with this company in any of the years named by this unknown lady.

These people know  there is a sucker born everyday, they must be making money or else they would not be wasting time with hundreds of phone calls daily trying to suck info out of unsuspecting targets. Well gotta go the FBI is at my door!

This number called me and my wifes employer left message.  We contacted they said we had theft identity investigation.

This company called (caller id said 904-379-7366) and it was someone named Investigator Jackson calling from Investigations Unit for Fraud.  They left a message stating I was listed as an affiliate for an account listed under my mom.  They gave the 1740 number ext 208 and asked me to call them back referring to a ref # provided...only problem is that I know my mom has horrible credit and may have used my name in the past....not calling them back but don't like the idea my name is tied into this?!!
