Received call from this number and it left a brief message on my voicemail about lowering the interest rate on one of my credit cards... However it didn't tell me which card company. Pretty sure it's a scam.

Considering I don't have any credit cards - only debit cards - I'm sure its a telemarketing call.  However - how it got my cell number is beyond me.  I don't give it out - period.  Very few friends/family even have it.

Anyone recently use turbo tax because I did and they have my cell phone

Rec'd call from this number on wife's cell phone.  Don't know how they got that number since very few people have it.

It's a telemarketing scam to "reduce interest rates on your credit cards"  I strung the operator along until she asked for my credit card number, when I told her no, she hung up.

It's an attempt to obtain your credit card number.  Caller offered to reduce credit card interest rate and asked to verify my credit card number.  I said, "you never call me when you raise it, why call me to lower it?  Just lowere it."  Caller laughed a little and wanted to verify my credit card number so I said, "Go ahead and tell me what you have."  Caller hung up.

Auto-dial voice said it was a final call regarding my credit card.  I hung up.  Anyway to stop these calls?

Got the call from this number with no answer on the otherside, just silence.  Called the number back and it said it was a telemarketing.  I could have my number removed from there list by pushing a 1.

CALLED THIS NUMBER BACK AND WAS ASKED BY A REORDING IF I WANTED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST. I DID NOT PRESS ONE AS IT MAY HAVE ALLOWED THEM TO GET MORE INFO FROM MY CELL PHONE. I THINK WE SHOULD START A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST ATT AS THEY ARE THE ONE GIVING OUR CELL NEMBER OUT....

okay, this is pissing me off.. I keep getting a call from that number, and other numbers related to that service, everytime i do, i push the button to be removed off the call list, which i shouldnt be getting them anyways, because im on the attorney generals do not call list, and they can get fined, because its considered harrassment.. well i still get the calls, each time i press the button, and it says it will, but yet they still call, EVERYDAY a couple times a day, its been like that since i moved in here DECEMBER, and they wont stop, so today i decided to be a b*tch. and i pushed "yes im interested" and a person gets on the line, i start going off on them, and they hung up on me, that made me even more madder, but it sucks that i tried to call back to talk to a supervisor, and to go off on them and make them finally stop calling, but it wont let u patch through to them.. so next time they talk im going to ask for a supervisor, and inform them that i did report them to the attorney general, and i save my caller id for proof :). before today when i had talked to them, they were "this is the first time we called, we wont call back" i was like "BULLCRAP, because i have at least 30 call logs on my caller id from you guys, and each time i push REMOVE ME!!" they hungup on me then too :).


In a couple cases i read, a guy was actually interested in what they had to offer, he gave his name, address and kept on giving info, until they asked for his account number, he said no, i dont trust that, they kept insisting, and he asked "where can i get ahold of you at" and they said the number they called from is their headquarters in florida, and they patched him through to a supervisor.. who kept insisting for him to give his account number and that he could trust them..

Another case, a woman asked to be removed, and the guy was insistent and said he would only remove her from the list, if she had phone sex with him.. (what if the woman was a kid?! theyd get in big trouble.. not to mention they should get in trouble, thats sexual harassment..

and calling as much as they do, even when you tell them or push a button to remove urself from the call list, or you are on the national do not call registry, and they keep calling.. they can get in big trouble..

everyone: Next time they call click the button to speak to a represenative, and tell them, "im on the national do not call registry, YOU WILL BE FINED FOR CALLING ME EVERYTIME YOU CALL, because im not supposed to be called, and this is considered harassment, either stop calling or i will report you, I save my call logs"

That should work.. it didnt work for me cus the little ho hung up on me so fast as soon as i started saying "EVERYTIME U GUYS CALL I CLICK REMOVE MY NUMBER YET U DO KEEP CALLING IM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALLL REGISTRY IF YOU GUYS CALLL....(she hungup)"

i got the same call, just call the number back and press 1 to be placed on the do not call list.

i just got a call from them a few minutes ago. i didn't answer. And before they had called me i got a call from the number 800-934-5213 about an auto warranty im so sick of this [***]! i have like 30 different numbers in my call log from these [***]! There wasting my minutes i want them dead!

Called my Cell, ignored it.  Just added it to the list of numbers under Spam in my phonebook (ringer set to silent).

got a call from this, asking if i wanted to lower my credit card rate.. so i went ahead and tryed to follow thru just for fun( i know it was a scam)..dude wanted me to give him my credit card number.. so i told him it was.. 123-456-7890. after a brief pause, he hung up on me.

You can register your phone numbers throgh the Nat'l Do Not Call at 1888-382-1222 through the FCC they will investigate unwanted calls from these scam artists it may not stop them right away but the telemarketers will get the message

Actually, I just got a call today from this number, no message left, and i JUST used Turbo Tax to file my taxes. WTF?
