I keep getting calls from this number saying it's Met Credit, they call my number asking for my daughter saying she has an outstanding issue.  I believe it's a scam there were no letters sent.
I've had calls before saying I owe Rogers but when I called Rogers, they said no such thing and to just ignore the callers.

Got a call.  Called back as I know I have no outstanding debts.  Was asked to verify personal info.  I refused and asked them to confirm which account they were calling from first.  Was advised if I didnt confirm personal info she would need to end the call.  I refused and began to state send me a letter with details of the issue so it could be addressed.  Mid sentence she hung up.
Looks like a scam to me.  Dont see a legit collection agency choosing to hang up rather than push for their money.
The fact that my bills are all paid and up to date lets me know somethings up.

This number will call me a couple times a day and use different numbers as well. They tried to tell me I owe my bank money which was from 13 years ago which I did not have with them at that time. I also told them I was not giving my info to send me something and they said they would have to end the call and hung up. Called my bank and informed them, seems very shady to me!!

It seems this MEFD CREDIT is a scam...here are the following phone#'s I've been getting calls from 905-233-2365, 1-877-388-1050, 647-965-3143, 1-866-463-9161. 905-819-8939 and 905-288-1054 (really?) and not only that, what Credit Bureau would send you Text Messages to your phone...and asking for the incorrect person...

Keep calling us and said it is not telemarketing call. It is scam.

I received a call from this very # (905) 288-1054 stating that they are calling from Met credit which he is claiming to be a Metropolitan Collection agency in Mississauga. They were asking for my house #. Please do not provide any information. This is definitely a scam. The will provide you your case# (fake) to scare you.

I asked he guys name and it took him few mumbling and 10 seconds to come up with a name *Art*.

I called them and they said I have no outstanding fees on my account, to not provide any information to this company and to just ignore the callers.

Goddam Rogers collections calling me for my roommate stiffing them! I hate Rogers and everyone should buy a free to air android box and save their $

i keep getting calls from the number and those others mentioned above. the first time it came up as scam/debt coll.  i have voice mails stating to call back with file number and even just blank voice mails. this start early in the morning sometimes really people sometimes a voice machine. even sent me a text. if it was real and i only own one place and that place knows my street address and city why dont they send me a physical copy of their calls no real so i blocked and blocked and will keep blocking

I constantly get calls from this number.  I have told them to stop harassing me but they continue.  Con artists!  How can they be stopped?

I am so sick of their daily calls which I blocked 2 months ago!!  Called them and like your previous comments, they wanted my name!!  I refused and the woman was quite rude and said she wouldn’t help me unless I did!!  Then she hung up!!  Got their alleged name though!!
