SP Data Capital- they say nothing when you answer the phone

Why are they doing this....not saying a thing?

The actually do speak, but they're delayed by 4-5 seconds.
Today they called on behalf of Direct Energy. don't know about what as I said goodbye and hung up.

just received this call 19055219082- I picked it up, not saying a word- at the other end, a few seconds later it was a man's voice saying hello... hello.... He just hang up.

Just received this call....I said hello 2 or 3 times....no voice at the other end.  Annoying at best.  Can these kinds of calls be stopped?

today they called 5 times in the evening but I did not pick up. Probably to offer Direct Energy savings...

Calling everyday...everyday and sometime 3 or 4 times a day. When you  say "Hello" no body replies.
Its nuisance.

SP Data Capital called and said they were from Qwest. I asked them not to call again...we will see if that does any good.

I know because I use to work for them.

Agents work long hours, and half the time, we don't get pay checks.

Theres a lot of crap going on there. One of the bosses got a representative pregnant so they had to fire her. They don't treat women with respect. The place is unclean. People spread rumours and stuff about eachother everyday.


Also they have had MANY clients in the past stop working for them because they SCAM custtomers.

THEY PLAY WITH THE CALL RECORDINGS!!! they edit it to make it look like you agreed to something you didn't!!!

THE AGENTS LIE TO YOU ON THE PHONE.

Great company to work for!  People are great!

I called the CEO plus i called Royal bank and left voice mails and plus send them emails bothering them and asking to get me of the calling list since they are scams.

Agreed. I haven't had a problem so far and would quit if I did. I don't do unethical - and I don't believe crap from ex-employees who were probably fired for something that deserved firing. I've seen a person fired for accidentally misinforming a customer; we're certainly never told to misinform them, and we do get feedback on our monitored calls.

Correct. It's just the automated dialler - most of those have delays and the agent can't always catch the call on time. But I've worked there for a few months, and haven't noticed any ethical breaches, haven't been told to lie, and have been told we'll be fired if we misinform customers. I could care less about workplace gossip. That happens everywhere. And as many of the trainers, supers, and QC people are women, I don't feel discriminated against at all. I'll let you know if that changes, but I just don't see it.
