It's a rude Indian telemarketer wanting to speak to the homeowner. Told him we rent and he hung up on me.  

It's another (or the same) Indian boiler room call centre hawking duct cleaning services.  I exploded on the guy and told that he must be mentally deficient if he thinks that having his company call me 25 times a month is going to make me use their services. [***] ba$tards need to be shut down.

What part of this is a rental unit gives the impression you can authorize duct cleaning. I tell these losers to talk to the landlord. I also try to tell them just because you have a phone number linked to a address doesn't mean you are the home owner dumbass.

The duct cleaning company is called "Save-Air".  I got so tired of the calls that I agreed to have them come to clean my ducts.  My plan was to teach,  womever arrived "a lesson" when they showed up.  Anyway, the rep called me a short time later to confirm the appointment.....FROM HIS CELL PHONE.  The number is 647-656-5775  Hahaha, now I have his number and I continually call him using *67 (to hide my number).  Needless to say, HE gets really pissed with MY calls.  He never did show up to "clean" my ducts as I really layed into him when he called me to confirm.  I guess he didn't like the severe tongue lashing that I gave him.. LOL.
Further, he acknowledged the fact that my number is on the do not call list.  I asked him why he keeps calling then.  He said he personally does not call but uses an overseas call center to "get around" the CRTC rules regarding telemarketers and the "Do Not Call List"

Again, the guy's cell phone number in Toronto is 647-656-5775 and his company is Save-Air.  I suggest to everyone that reads my comment here to harrass this jack*** day in and day out!

Another alternative is to actually set up an appointment with this f*cker and then "deal" with him when he arrives at your door.

Have fun with the number!  I most certainly enjoy pissing the guy off now too!

I made a couple of polite calls asking how he liked getting phone calls from numbers he couldn't track ..... he was most unhappy. The fact my call was very civil [ no cussing or use of derog terms ] and totally ignored his use of "languge "  caused him to hang up. Same reaction when I called back couple hours later & then next day.   Tried the # today and he's gone.
Somehow , I doubt he got the complete message. He'll be back once he gets new #s sorted out.

Ha-ha...they called here and said duck cleaning...my husband said, " sorry we have no ducks here only chickens" ...they hung up and we have not heard from them for a while...ha-ha...

Just received a call from 905 632 1202, asking to speak to the homeowner, I said they are not hear so he dropped the call.

I asked for their company name and they said it is logistics home services.  I asked for their phone number and she hung up on me

Got the call. I said hello once no answer. Its a telemarketer. No time to wait. I am also on the do not call list so this is iligal for them to be callingg me  

These duct cleaning calls by telemarketers from India are out of control. They call my home almost daily, often multiple times per day. I have politely asked to speak to supervisors and have repeatedly asked to be removed from their call lists. Sometimes they hang up on me, other times a "supervisor" assures me that I will be removed from their list. I am thisclose to cancelling my landline altogether just to stop this harassment.

Got the call too. Just let him ramble then tell him you have electric heating. It stuns them.  :-)

Air duct cleaning service, phone/voice delay et all, and a very Indian sounding accent. "Can I speak to the homeowner?" So I ask why? I ask them 'why?" Confirms it is for air duct cleaning service. I tell then "this is an apartment on the 23rd floor, and there's no servicable air ducts for them!" He says "no it's not - your address is XXXXXXX" and he reads out my exact address. I proceed to tell him the number has been transferred to a new residence, here on the 23rd floor. He states "no it hasnt been". I tell him "why don't you give me your home address, your full name, and your phone number, and I'll call YOU when it is convenient for me!" And, I am spared any of the usual vulgarities after *I* get under their skin, and this fellow just hung up. BTW, don't you just love the feeling of someone calling you from the other side of the planet with intimate knowledge of you and your whereabouts and reciting it back to you, while you know nothing about that person? Great planet we've got going here.
