- Mary| 1 replyHad a call at 7.50 in the morning. Caller said they were from Visa and that a charge had been made on my account from E Bay. They asked if I had made any charges on E Bay and I said no. They asked if anyone else used my card and I said no. They said make sure you have your card in your possession. After I said I did, they asked for the number. I refused. I said you must know my number, you said that a charge was made against it. They hung up.

- LisaThe exact same thing just happened o me at 7:30 this morning.
He said a $300 charge had been made to my account at 4 this morning. He asked if I had the card, I said yes its in my wallet. He asked me to get the card and tell me the number. I refused. He said "Why won't you give me the number?" I said "Why won't you give me your credit card number?!" This went on for a minute or 2. Then he said "You want my credit card number? Get a pen, write this down." What an ass! Clearly this was not a professional business call. I hung up. - VirginiaCaller said they were from TD Visa and had I made a purchase from ebay, they gave specific details. My husband and I have different last names - they asked for Mrs (husbands name). I said that wasn't me and then I asked them what name was on the card and they gave me my husbands name. I told them that but the only TD card in our house belongs to me in my maiden name so that couldn't be correct. He asked me 'If you're not Mr or Mrs (husbands name), how would you know what name is on the card?' I told them I work for RBC and so I am trained to call a bank's hotline if there's an issue or go to the local branch. He hung up.
- Not amusedhappened to me at 5:40 AM not impressed at all. Don't understand why so many calls from one number, and no one can look into it. When I called the number it said it was out of service.
- Caller: said visa

- CindyHad a call from this number at 6:40 am. Caller said he was calling from Visa and that at 4 something this morning, charges from Western Union and Ebay had been charged to my account. He asked if I made them, when I said no, he asked when was the last time I used my Visa (feeling something was off), I just said I don't know. He said my card had been compromised. (Still not comfortable...). I said thanks I will contact the bank and hung up.
- Wanda[***] called home while I was away and convinced my mother to give them banking information after they told her that her that they were from her bank and that her card was used fraudulently on eBay. Sad that she believed them and gave them her banking information, but on her way to the bank to take out the money they also asked for, she listened to her suspicions and asked the teller about it (something that they told her not to do... RED FLAG!). The teller explained it was a scam, and helped her change all her account information. Pisses me off that scammers prey on people like this, and it's the most vulnerable people in our society that pay the price!
- Caller: "bank"
- Why did I answer??Don't normally answer strange #s anymore cause there are just too many scammers calling! He called @ 9:30 am saying something about porn movies and $300/hour. He gave me a name and company he was calling from, but I had trouble understanding him because of the accent. I told him it was a bunch of bulls**t, that i was reporting him and to stop calling me. I should have just had some fun with the call like i know some people do! Get irritated too quickly though.
- DNSReceived call at 12:07 p.m. today. Although it came up "Unknown Name" (which I rarely answer), I was expecting a callback and picked up without checking. Heavily accented voice asked if this was Mr. S----- a name very close to my own surname but missing a letter. I am female, and my voice doesn't resemble a man's. I asked who was calling, and was told Visa Security; lots of chatter in the background. I ended the call at that point.
