I was called about a job as an Operations Manager for Bank of America.  They asked for my email address and said they were sending me an application.  It never arrived.  When I called back I could not get into the voicemail for the extension I was given.
The automated answer is Twenty Second Century Technology - I was told they got my name and number from the Arizona Unemployment Office.

Got a voice mail from a Myrna Lady regarding a job with SRA. They are looking for a person to fill customer services rep position starting October first with this company. That it's a five year contract and no interview needed.
She requested my resume. Weary about it. Research the company and there was no job openings.

A woman named Elizabeth called a friend of mine from this number to ask about me. Apparently she wanted some sort of reference. I know nothing about this and have not been job-hunting recently. Thankfully my friend warned me before she responded or gave any information about me. Be wary of this phone number!

The person  from this phone number 908-765-0002 called today 26 Nov 2013 about a job with UPS they needed my birthday and SSN, also my bank info.  I did not giving them any info you never give out your info to anyone over the phone. BEWARE OF THIS PHONE NUMBER!!!

After speaking to an obviously 'Indian' woman named 'Christy Swain' with broken english, here is her email that she sent to me. There are at least three missing words in the second paragraph:

i do not answer phone calls on my cell phone unless it is a local area code or someone i know who is in my address book.

so when this phone call came through i did not answer it.  the people also did not leave a message on my message centre.

it is interesting - after seeing the above posts and the number of years this phone scam has been going on - that these people are still doing this.

Call from 9087650002. The want to do a credit check for the job and asks for SSN and Birthday  to start application.

Sounds like a big SCAM!

I didn't answer when they called mainly because it was an unknown on my caller id plus the number, 0002, is just not right. So I called them back. They answered by saying, "hello". No company name, nothing. I told them I was returning someone's call and he asked for my phone number. (No caller id in this day and age?).  I gave them my old home phone number so I wouldn't get bugged again. He was going to look up the number, see who called me, and have that person call me back.

Before we hung up I asked who they were. He went through his 22nd Century recruiter line of BS and obviously the person who called wanted to speak with me about a job opening. I asked how they got my number, he was quick to say they partner with all the major resume sites, Monster, Career Builder, etc.

It's obvious they're a scam by reading everyone's previous comments, however, they're good at their response modules.

Everyone, please be careful.

It's a scam - they called me and sent me an email asking for my driver's license number and last 4 digits of my SSN telling me they need for my a possible job interview.  A recruiter would never ask for that information

Received a call from this number today, they are claiming I have outstanding medical bills, I told her I did not and she insisted upon asking me for my address and verifying the spelling of my name.

I told her I would not give her any information because I did not know who she was and that she needed to not call me.

I received a second call, but did not answer it.   These calls were 908-765-0002 from New Jersey

I also got a call from th.is number today.  I googled the company that the man said he represented, 22 Century staffing, the location of that company is Virginia- but the call is based out of New Jersey.  He said his name was GaganDeep Singh, according to his email, but, when I googled his name and location I found out that he is using the name of a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist in Princeton and Monroe Twp, NJ -- So, NO, Nothing checked out right.  All I can say is, thank God for Google- always google numbers, people, whoever someone says they are and see if it links, if it doesn't its certainly a scammer...

I received an email from a women named Ankita Behl and she said that she worked for 22nd Century Technologies Inc. She said she had an opening for a production worker (warehouse job) and that the pay is $9 per hour I told her that it was not enough and denied the job. She called me back and said her manager reviewed my resume and would increase pay to 11.50$. I've never encountered any job to do that. She has called me more than 5 times today (8/22/2015). She has not asked me for any personal information but I would not trust this woman or this number (9087650002)

Had a missed call from 908.765.0002... no message was left.  After reading all the comments it's clear this call is from a scammer.

Thanks to all the informative comments I now know NOT to pick up this call and to add it to the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Over the last three months , people with Indian names and heavy accents have called me about great job opportunities with aerospace companies. They want a current resume and personal information. I tell them I'm not interested at all and ask them to remove my name immediately. They say they will then ask if I know of other people interested in employment. They continue to call and email me?  Beware of these scammers!

I just received a call from this number the woman asked for me but thinking it was a collection agency i stated i was not home she said she was calling me about a job opportunity. Gave me this number to call back in which i did with in 3 min. from my cell found out it was a NJ number. No answer did not leave a message. On my home caller ID name states S Singh. Reading this information im glad that i said that i was not home..
