National Life Alert Netowkr or some such name, trying to sell the old "coupons + alert system" to seniors.  They had my dead mother's name (I forwarded her number to mine a couple of years ago).

I punched through to an operator and messed around with them for a while to amuse myself.  Reported to donotcall.gov as well.

My phone rang when I wasn't home, called the number back, message said the number was not in service

Is there a way to put a block on this number

called, left no message==on do not call list, but doesn't seem to make any difference===what to do====

Call offering me $1000.00 in free groceries.   I hung up before listening to entire speel.

answered by asking them 'who they are'. They hung up. Tried to call back "number out of service" .... I am so sick of these scams.

Keep you records.  Some day these criminals might be caught.  The Class Action boys may come to you for "proof" that you're due compensation.

Attempting to scam Senior Citizens again.

Get a whistle. When they call and the idiot starts talking, blow it as hard as you can. Then, just for fun, block you number so it does not broadcast, and call them back. When someone answers, blow that whistle again. Keep doing it. Eventually, no one left that can hear.

Keep calling my cell number.  Never leave msg. I am on a Do Not Call list and this has not help with the call. What can a person do with this annoying caller.

I receive multiple calls from this number. I usually don't answer but occasionally my husband does. It is very annoying, especially if he is taking a nap.

Spoofed number.  Scam call.  Just don't answer.

Got another call today.  Different recording, but offering the same product/service.

Medical alert scam....Paul at Medical Alert, a free alert system and $1000 in grocery shopping or some such thing.  Very irritating.  I dont punch any numbers, just wait till it goes dead.  I have talked to these people a couple of times.

I once ask them why I would need it.  Well, they said, in case of a medical emergency, fall down or whatever.  I then told them I run hundreds of miles each year and can I take it with me in my long distance running to which they said yes, I can.  Ha  and answer for everything.

Just try to ignore them.  The Federal Trade Commission has a web page about the whole thing.  Maybe that is why one political party wants to do away with regulations and commissions, because the FTC interferes with market schemes and scams.  And the free market has to be protected. As others have said:   CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM using the RUSE of offering a "free MEDIC ALERT" system.  THIEVES.  Time to NUKE INDIA!!

Or, have FUN with them and tell them you are having your RAT APPETIZERS while waiting for your WHOLE COW to cook!  Indian HINDUs WORSHIP RATS and COWS (it is sacrilegious to eat them!) , so this will REALLY set them OFF!
