I received a call from this number and told them to take me off the list. They called again today and woke me up (i work nightshift) but noone was on the line so I called back and told them to take me off the list and was also hung up on. Then she called me back using an unknown number just to hang up on me again, ignorant. The womans name was regina I'm looking for a way to report her and the company.

What kind of company is this?

same thing is happening to me 3 times a day so today i called the # back and I got hung up on 4 times when I said I wanted my # off so I gave a fake name and am on the phone right now being transferred to a supervisor. Im going to try to get as much info as I can so I can press charges wish me luck

Hi all -- might have an answer. There's a number you can call, 1-800-461-6675, to have your name taken off the calling list for the 909-842-8164 mystery number.

After being harassed by this 909-842-8164 number repeatedly, I used white pages.com to track it and it's registered to a company called Digitcom Services. I called the Digitcom customer service number (310) 358-7000 and was told to call 1-800-461-6675 to have my # taken off their calling list, a nice man answered the phone and took down my number. Don't know yet if it will work or if this is another scam but worth a shot since they already have our phone #'s.

This same method works for any mystery number that harasses you. If you can track what phone service a call is coming from, you can complain to the phone service since they also may be liable if these people are using their lines to commit fraud, identity theft and violations of "do not call" law.

p.s. If you are being harassed by calls from 909-842-8164, please call Digitcom phone service (who owns the number) at 1-800-461-6675 to report it and have your number removed. Am hoping if enough people call, this phone co. will be clued in to investigate and shut this number down once and for all due to all the DNC and FCC violations. Thanks! Jenn

I called this number that appeared on callerID five times to ask them to remove my name from their list. They hang up on me each time. They are supposedly a debt consolidation group.

Here is the companies website.  It looks like they are a "phone number plan" company....seems kind of ironic that given their services (phone number plans), they can't seem to get this 909 thing stopped.

Needless to say, I only received one, and it was today.

I have found out that this number is being serviced by a company called DigitCom. A voicemail and prepay service in the LA area. You can call them and register a complaint at 800-464-5446. Ask to speak to Vegianna. Call frequently ....

Does anyone know who this number is?!?!?? I called it back 3 times requesting to be taken off of their list cause they are calling my cell phone and they hung up on my all times I spoke to a Michael. He claims he took it off I advised them I would be filing a complaint if they called again he got mad and hung up!!! I need to find out who these people are wanting to know how much money I make?!?!?

This is getting really bad.  I called the number back 5 times and got hung up on each time.  I called the numbers listed above and was put on hold for 15 mins and then...you gussed it.  Hung up again.  I went to the website listed above and found a 800 number 800 - 464 - 5446 will give that a try.  I'm looking for a govement org to follow up with.  I know there are laws about this kind of thing.  I don't know if anyone know who Clark Howard is but I think that is going to be a stop along this road very soon.

I called (310) 358-7000 which is  the customer service company for their telephone company.  I talked to Daisianna at "Wildgate".  I was told that they could put your number on a list so that the (909) 842-8133 could not call my telephone number anymore.  Hope this works, but we'll see.....

I get the same Debt Reduction Service call almost everyday. I just filed a notice with the FCC via Do Not Call list violations submission form. I am so pissed at them I am going to keep a record of every single call I get from them and summit a seperate form each and everytime I get a call that is unsolicited from now on. I am going to talk to my neighbors and encourage them to do the same. I want to draw enough attention that somebody will do something about them. These people are lazy parasites and they deserve whatever it takes to shut them down.

Go to: donotcall.gov, & register your cell/phone number. Calling any # given out by digitcom, is bogus. File a complaint against this scam for debt consolidation by reporting date & time of calls to the government @ the Do Not Call web site & hopefully we can get these scammers slammed with a fine the size of Texas.

When you get a live person on the phone, put an air horn up to the ear piece.  They won't call back.
