I don't answer. Who is it? Anyone?

I've gotten the same call. Twice so far, once today and once yesterday.

Me too.  They called mid-day and left no message.

I had 3 calls from this number today.  Once I was online and saw the number on my answering device online.  I took a nap and when I awoke there was a hello hello and then he must have hung up.  Another long message was next on the answering machine from the same number.  It sounds like Spanish, could be Italian, and I have not got a clue what he is saying.

They called me twice today..I answered the 2nd time..They claim the be the US social security office, and that ive got a $500 refund..They needed my info including SN to verify..And my bank routing number so that they could place the money in my account..scaaaaaammmmmmm

Received two calls at work, guy said he was calling from VZ and wanted to speak to the person who handles the bill. I offered VM because the person was not in, the guy became agitated and repeated his request - the statement, "I SAID I wanted to speak to the person, I don't want VM!" I hung up on him.

He called right back and asked me why I hung up on him. I replied, "You were rude." He then said he was going to cut off my service and send a fax blaming it on me. Then he hung up on me. Yea!!

I get about 3-6 calls a day stating they a SS office wanting to give me 2000. When I refuse to give checking info over phone, they call me a b***h and hang up.

Called to tell me Social Security made a mistake and owes me money. Wanted SSN, bank routing number and account number to deposit money to.   i hung up.

They've been calling me about 5 times a day for about 3 weeks now.  I don't answer calls that I don't recognize and they never leave voice messages.  Today I finally answered the call.  He said he was with some government agency and that I overpaid on my taxes and I was due a refund.  He spoke in broken English and I knew it was a scam right off the bat, but I stayed on long enough to hear his sales pitch.  He said they were going to give me $2,145 deposited directly in my account.  Without trying to laugh I said "Great, send me the money".  He said he needed my routing number and bank account.  I said, "No, just send me a check".  He said he needed my info, I said "Right, how stupid do you think I am?"  I told him to not call me again.  He said "If you don't believe me then we're going to send your money to charity."  I said, "Great.  Send it to charity.  That sounds good to me.  And don't call me again."  This is obviously a scam.  Do not give these people your info...EVER.

I get a call from this number once every couple of days in addition to two other odd phone numbers. one a 2-digit phone number, the other a 15 digit phone number. I looked up where they are coming from and this number is from india. the 15 digit number that calls is from ghana. this number never talks when i answer, immediately hangs up. the other number texts me constantly. creepy stuff. had to get my number changed.

It's another telemarketer. Try this:

1) You answer & no one is there: hit ###### many times in rapid succession (creates an even-spaced beep) and hang up; Machine may interpret that your number is bad and take you off the list.

2) You answer & get a sales pitch: say "please hold" and set the phone down till they hang up; If you always waste their time like this, they'd be stupid not to take you off the list.

I got this number as a missed all.

I got a call from that number.  It was a stranger speaking perfect English.  Supposedly he was trying to reach some other lady.  He was kind of rude and pushy.  When I asked he said he was calling from a regular cell phone, no calling card or anything.

I received 2 calls from this number, the 2nd time I tried to answer and no one was there.  I'm wondering who this is coming from and why?

I received a call from this number on my cell, didn't answer. Scammmmmmm !!!!! To many numbers for me to answer, plus they called after 9, definitely not a telemarketer in the US

I got a call from this number also.  I was masturbating, so I didn't answer it.  Almost caused me to abort my knuckle children.

I got the 500 dollar SS scam too.  (Foreign accent) He asked for bank info from me and I told him no.  He asked "Why don't you want 500 dollars?"  I replied that I didn't believe that there would be 500 dollars.  He went on from there at which time I let him have it indicating that there was no such legislation passed that would provide a $500 SS refund.  He hung up but I got a missed call the next day from the same number...

well this # called me 6 time, after the 6th time I answered guess what I got $500, only if I gave my account #? what a scam

I get these calls probably 2-3 times daily. I started asking for zip codes the foreigners on the other line kept changing it and saying they were all over. Then today I told them that I wanted to speak to someone who spoke English, someone else got on the phone and he spoke with an Arab accent. I told him I wanted someone who spoke English, he said what am I speaking bullabullah, I said yes. He started saying how he F'd my mother and my sister, and all this other junk. Ive told them repeatedly to take me off their list and they keep calling. Im getting my phone records, and going to have the police contact them for harassment.

i am from texas and have been getting these calls.  i finally told them to take me off of their F-ing list or i was going to contact the BBB or whoever i needed to.  i think someone needs to take action soon.  any suggestions as to who we should contact?
